The bay beaches are one of the area's best kept secret and quite popular with kayakers. The bay beach also offers a nice calm body of water for a morning swim. The famous ocean beaches of the Hamptons are nearby as well. I was most surprised when I first came out to the Hamptons to discover how empty the beaches are! Southampton village is a quaint village filled with high-end shops and local food. We can point you in the direction of all the tony restaurants as well as the secret seafood hide-outs. The Hamptons also offer plenty of nightlife as well as the daytime events you may have read about such as the polo events, museum benefits, etc. There is a nice children's museum that opened recently as well.
