Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-5)

Recently renovated unit July 2011. It is an end unit of a 3 story building walk up with no elevator. The place sits right on the beach with great surfing, swimming, and snorkeling right out the door.The Haleiwa Surf is an ocean front building and I have an an end unit receiving common trade winds year round. Very likely to see one or more of the following from the lanai; Turtles,Dolphins,Whales, or Monk Seals. Despite being on the North Shore which is famous for it's large waves the bulding is on an extremely safe beach with swimming and snorkeling right out front. Free usage of 1 surfboard and 1 boogie board. Snorkeling equipment is also available for guests to use.

About The Owner

I am a school teacher at a local Middle and High school on the North Shore of Oahu.

I have been a resident of Hawaii since 1978. I have spent all my time living on the Island of Oahu.

I am an avid runner and ocean minded athlete.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2003

Notes: This unit is among very few in the building that is an end unit in the ocean front building. This adds to the comfort of the usual trade winds as well as the direct view of the ocean. It is not unusual to see whales,dolphins,turtles and occasionally a Monk seal right off the lanai.

Relaxing visit

The apt is right on the beach, and close to restaurants, shave ice, etc. I slept on the futon in the living room with the windows open, listening to the ocean. Very peaceful and relaxing. The owner, Craig, was very helpful with a short notice reservation for only two nights for me. He also directed us to view turtles on the beach a very short walking distance away. I would have liked to stay longer, but already had other reservations elsewhere. The North Shore is beautiful and I will return.

Perfect location for a relaxing North Shore vacation

2nd time staying here. Can't beat a condo that overlooks the beach 50' away. It's clean, well kept, and in a magnificent location. If you want glitz and glamour, go to Waikiki. If you want to relax and listen to the waves and birds, and have an easy stroll to Alii beach or "downtown" Haleiwa, go here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your condo. Waking up to the view and sounds of the ocean each day was great. We had breakfast each morning on the balcony looking at the whales in the distance and seeing the occasional turtle head pop up as he/she swam by. Well kept grounds and clean condo. The owner offered suggestions on sites to see-very helpful. Town was in walking distance (approx. 15 min). We would definitely recommend to our friends and family. I would only recommend updating pictures on vrbo as we were pleasantly surprised that the condo was nicer than the impression that the photos gave us.
Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

Had never stayed in this area of Oahu. Not an urbanite, so Haleiwa was heaven after Waikiki. The north shore is full of great people, and Craig is one of the best.
