A truly spectacular spot for your NYC visit.
LOFT IN SPACE!
Our 1400 sq ft (approx. 130 m sq) photo studio space is located on the top floor of a formerly industrial loft building in the heart of fashionable Williamsburg.
This large section of my lovely loft is full of sweeping space and light! With high ceilings, old warehouse industrial details, 3 piece luxury bathroom with a rainfall shower, modern sink and white marble custom tile. Sleep in a queen sized bed complete with over-stuffed down bedding and also relax on a large sofa that can sleep another person. Make coffee in the morning or what ever you desire in the excellent kitchenette. The building is a robust industrial structure with massive walls and is fully automatic fire sprinklered for occupants safety. I am almost always around for whatever you may need, and happy to make sure you are well informed and safe for your stay in williamsburg.
The studio is a private part of my larger loft in which I reside. It is very spacious and located on the top corner of the building with eight big windows facing South and West. This allows streams of sunlight to make this loft area very warm and bright and also provides views of the Manhattan skyline and the Empire State Building, not to mention the stunning New York City sunset. There are high ceilings, wood floors, post and beams and brick walls.
Fully furnished with a big vintage couch, reading chair, ottoman and coffee table, television/ DVD, full stereo/ CD player and laptop hookup. when i am not shooting Photography, enjoy our fully private NYC vacation in this studio space as an interesting alternative to cookie cutter accommodations. it is a most comfortable and sophisticated place to enjoy.
There are two queen-bed sleeping areas behind room dividers and additional sleeping and lounging possibilities.
The kitchen has a cast concrete counter top and glass tiles and is open to the living area with a dining table and chairs. It is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, double door fridge, microwave, coffee makers and all necessary items.
Numerous photo shoots have been catered from these facilities and photo shoots and commercial uses are negotiable.
The extra large bathroom is in white marble mosaic and equipped with a large glass and marble rainfall shower stall with high windows that allow you to look over Williamsburg rooftops while showering. There is a pedestal sink and lots of mirrors.
Williamsburg is a very desirable area in which artists from around the world have chosen to settle. The apartment is only a block off Bedford Avenue (the main strip of cafes and shops) and a short block from the convenient L train, which is only one stop from Manhattan. This train connects with ALL other trains in the system making commuting super easy.
There are many work/live spaces and recording and art studios. This very colorful area is a weekend destination for both native New Yorkers and visitors. The numerous murals, galleries and all the public art reflect the young, international and eclectic artistic atmosphere of this neighborhood. There are many bars, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, wine bars, specialty shops, markets, night and music venues, all within walking distance.
There are two great big parks also within walking distance: McCarren Park is nearby and in the summer there are many outdoor events and concerts. In this park there are children's playgrounds, jogging tracks and tennis courts as well as a lovely farmer’s market. On the waterfront there is a huge state Waterfront Park, located along the East River, which has nice views of Manhattan and is an urban “beach” scene in summer months with people lounging on the grass.
Transportation: 1 minute to the L train to Bedford Avenue and the B61 bus to downtown Brooklyn just out the door too.

I am a photographer and use this space when needed as a photo studio because it is flooded with light and open with lots of space to move about. I have lived and worked in Williamsburg for 19 years and have seen the transformation of this exciting and vibrant artist community first hand. I am here on site and happy to assist with recommendations to explore Williamsburg and NYC and get the most from time here.
The Owner purchased this studio in 1999
NYC. This is better than Manhattan-- I was born and raised there. Brooklyn has more soul, more light and sky and more space. We have 2 parks within walking distance with tennis and a track too. A lovely farmers market on weekends and lots of restaurants and shops, bars and nightlife etc. People come from the city in droves to spend time in williamsburg and we are a block away from the main subeway hub. One can easily head into town for a few hours and return to a humanly scaled environment with buildings that don't exceed 5 stories.
Enjoy real loft living. Artist have lived in this building since the 70's and its one of Williamsburg's original artist loft buildings. Lots of charm and great/best location for getting around. Center of Williamsburg and all it has to offer too. Lots of boutiques, vintage clothing stores, cafes, bars, restaurants, galleries, bowling, parks, tennis even. Come and see for yourself. A lot of Europeans make Williamsburg there home and you can see why--it has a small village feel yet its large in itself and closest to Manhattan of all Brooklyn neighborhoods.
Stayed in this loft with a friend for a month and had lot of fun in the neighbourhood (both 25 years old). We were welcomed and taken care of by a friend of the owner (away when we arrived) who even brought us food (useful when you arrive around 10pm). We met the owner later on, and she took care of us too.
The place in itselft is fantastic, lot of space, very bright, warm (even when NYC is very cold, we were here in february), all you need is provided by the owner (blankets, shits, towels and so on).
Then Williamsburg is great, people are nice, lot of restaurants, cool bars, shops and so on. You are missing something if you just visit the city without this part of BK.
I would recommand this place (or any other place of this owner) and Williamsburg to friends and family without any hesitation.
My husband and I stayed at this cool loft in Williamsburg, last Fall. The space was clean, roomy, bright and comfortable - just as described. The owners are very cool and easy going. Great neighborhood with funky shops, wonderful coffee houses and restaurants - a great value all around. I highly recommend this for a nice stay in a very hip part of Brooklyn. Totally beets some cheesy hotel.
Stayed with a friend for a week & couldn't be happier here. Great location - block away from vibrant little corner of Brooklyn - my ideal of where I'd live in NY if I could. Lot's of open space & nicely laid out. Felt very much the home-away-from-home & well looked after by the hosts who were attentive but left us to our own devices. Highly recommended.
This place is great for those that want a different part of New York City. The location is close to the Subway and the main area of Williamsburg's Bedford Ave. Subway ran every 6 minutes and got you to Union Square in about 10 minutes.
The place was clean and the photo's give a great idea of the space.
Williamsburg is a safe and great area of Brooklyn. The eating is top notch. Lots of great cafe's and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. The weekend market in McCarren Park is worth a look, Blue Bottle for coffee, and La Superior for Mexican.
Would recommend the apartment to families (although be prepared to walk up a few flights of stairs), or close friends. The apartment is really open so not a lot of privacy but still doesn't detract from the space and the location.
