Awesome Stay

We rented this house for just the weekend because we had a wedding to go to at the Grand Traverse. Had we known what we were getting, we would've reserved for the entire week. This house has absolutely everything you need.. Internet, computer, food in pantry, games, books, the pantry in the bathroom has every type of first aid you need. The house is super clean and comfortable... the caretaker is super friendly and helpful. We couldn't believe the boats, paddleboats, and everything available for the price we paid. We are planning to rent the property again. We have highly recommended this property to all our friends and family and would recommend it to everyone.
Thank you Lynda for allowing us to stay at your awesome home.

Beautiful setting

We enjoyed our week at Spider Lake very much. It was a quiet, relaxing week. We rented the pontoon boat and are very glad that we did. We spent several hours each day swimming and diving and soaking up the sun out on the lake. Near the dock was very weedy, making swimming undesirable there. The home was well stocked in the kitchen and had plenty of bath towels. (we brought our own beach towels, there were only a few at the cottage) It was nice to have a washer and dryer available. Only a few minor glitches (like not enough toilet paper and smelly stove).

Owner's Response: The cook top (apparently) had liquid spill over from cooking. We swapped out the burner liners for silicon covered enamel liners and cleaned the under surface of the cook top. Had we known about the issue, it would have been resolved prior to this guest and/or their departure. Furthermore, ample supplies of paper products are always available - some guest (apparently) do not check linen closets and/or under vanities. Again, had this been brought to our attention as an issue, the misunderstanding would have been avoided.
