Tennis:
Best tennis ever. The tradewinds make playing a challenge and fun. You can register at Kapalua Tennis club or the Royal Lahiana tennis club and they're great for finding you singles or doubles. Everyone is there to have fun so it's very social and a good way to get the local scoop.
Massage:
The Wellness center right across the road from the condo offers wonderful massages, facials and other beauty treatments. After a few days of fun in the sun you skin will love this pampering. Tell them you're staying at the Hale Kai and they will give you a discount on all services.
Food:
There are so many places to eat nearby you just have to watch yourself. The Fish Market just down the road has beautiful fish for grilling on our outdoor bbq or you can just let them make a sandwich for you; it's all fresh. The local market also hosts a Farmer's Market each week, with the freshest produce available. The Lahaina Foods grocery store is gourmet and beautiful. You can get wonderful fish, meats, veggies and fruits, including organic food stuffs there. It's just a short drive down the road. I stop there as soon as I unload at the condo. Speaking of stopping, right when you get out of the airport there is a Costco on the left. It is a great place to stock up on bottled water and other basic supplies if you're coming in with a family. I like to pick up flowers there so the condo has the wonderful Hawaiian floral smell right away. Once you're on the other side of the island you may not want to trek back for some of these basic needs.
Golf:
There are several golf courses nearby. From the PGA courses at Kapalua and Kaanapali to the Maui Dunes Public course, you'll find golfing in Hawaii challenging, loaded with awesome scenery and surroundings, and always in great shape. Check local phone book or scope out guest packages. Good Luck and hit 'em straight !!
Other Activities:
Kayaking, wildlife viewing, basketball court, mini golf, shopping, boating, health/beauty spa.
