Built in 1883, this farm house has all the charm of an historic property with the modern amenities from a recent renovation. Filled with light from the many historic windows, the living and dining rooms are open and welcoming, boasting hardwood floors, a fireplace and a window seat. The furnishings and decorations are curated to delight. The kitchen has soapstone and quartz countertops, Carrara marble tiles, Viking range, Bosch dishwasher and a huge 60" wide refrigerator and opens to butler's pantry for small appliances and room for all the entertaining extras. Off the kitchen, there is a peaceful sunroom with a macrame swing and lovely table for dining, games and puzzles (all provided). You can reach the TV room through a pair of antique french doors and settle into the comfy sofa for a movie.
Up the historic stairs, you will find the home's three bedrooms. The master is charming, with an ensuite bath and a lovely deck with views of downtown Boulder. The two other bedrooms have 3 windows each for lots of light and share a Jack and Jill bathroom that is tiled with tumbled marble. The third bedroom can be a bedroom or an office. Let us know and we will set it up for you! Central A/C and radiant floor heating are throughout.
The house sits close to one side of the 1/4 acre lot, so the yard is gracious and private. You can't find properties of this size, especially so close to the action. We have many activities to enjoy outside including an epic tree swing, a ninja line and croquet. It really is an oasis in the middle of downtown.
We are literally steps from Pearl Street, which is the center of activity in Boulder, and have multiple hiking options within a 10 minute walk. Many charming parks are close by including Mapleton School and North Boulder Park, and Boulder Creek is just across Pearl St. if you need a cool down. We have everything you need, just bring your luggage and laptop for a great stay in Downtown Boulder!
