After many weeks of searching VRBO, my husband and I finally agreed on renting this apartment. We stayed here with another couple for a week. After arriving, we all knew we had made the right decision. The apartment is very clean and well set up with anything you’d need during a stay. It is very close walking distance to MANY wonderful shops, restaurants, sights and the subway.
We were greeted by the maintenance/door man who became our new friend. He couldn't speak English, but we learned to communicate anyway. After we settled in, the property manager Sue came to greet us and showed us all the apartment amenities. She's a lovely lady and speaks very good English.
The bedrooms are located on the first and second floor. Both bathrooms are on the first floor, so the user of the second bedroom must come downstairs to use it. The apartment has a back patio, which is nice for sitting and sipping a glass of wine. The kitchen is compact, but functional. The only necessity missing is a clothes washer/dryer, but a laundry is across the street.
Rueben, the owner, was excellent to work with in booking our week and followed up with us after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. There is a phone in the apartment to call him, if a problem arises. Our deposit was returned within a few days of leaving Buenos Aires. If you’re looking for a 2 bdr private apartment in a nice area of Buenos Aires, this is the right place to stay.
