Imagine spending a relaxing week at the best beach in Charleston. This place has everything. Remodeled in 2008, our townhome sleeps 8 and is perfect for one family or two. The main level includes the living area, kitchen, and a bedroom with a queen bed and full bath. The upstairs kids’ room has 2 sets of bunk beds and its own full bath. The master suite has a king bed, whirlpool tub, glass shower, TV/DVD player, and a private sundeck. Other amenities include wireless internet, 3-car garage/carport, Weber gas grill, washer/dryer and a screened porch with teak loveseat and rocking chairs overlooking the Folly River. Turtle Bay is secluded and quiet yet only 4 blocks from the restaurants and shopping of Center Street and only 5 blocks to the beach and pier. Built in 2003, our home has 1550 square feet with 9' ceilings, granite countertops, and hardwood floors. There is a great swimming pool just a few steps from our condo and a large dock on the Folly River.

Just 15 minutes from Downtown Charleston, Folly Beach is the perfect location. Charleston natives have been coming to Folly Beach for its beautiful wide beach, great restaurants and fun shopping. Folly Beach is bordered by the Folly River and the Atlantic Ocean. At one end is a state park, great for fishing and bird watching. At the other end is the Washout, perfect for learning to surf or bodyboarding, and Morris Island lighthouse. In the center of the Island is Center Street lined by restaurants, bars and local shops (no chains). At the end of Center Street is a great pier with a restaurant and arcade. Most people lay out on the beach near the pier and play bocce or stick ball on the soft sand. The island is great for riding bikes. For boaters, the Folly River has easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway, Charleston Harbor, Kiawah Island and Morris Island. Folly Beach is close to the Charleston Aquarium, Fort Sumter and the shopping and restaurants of King Street.

  • The great part about our townhome is that every bedroom has its own bathroom--no sharing of bathrooms. Our cleaning/linen service provides fresh towels and towels for the beach.

  • Master suite has king bed with a great mattress and comforter. Walk-in closet leads to master bath with a jetted garden tub, glass shower and double vanity. There is also a large dresser, TV/DVD player, iPod docking station and alarm clock. Master Suite also has a sun deck with lounge chairs that are perfect for getting sun or watching sunsets on the Folly River. The downstairs bedroom has a comfy queen bed and private bath. This bedroom has a small closet and flat screen TV. The kids' room upstairs has 4 bunk beds and a private bath. This bedroom contains a large closet, two bean bags and a small television. All rooms are freshly painted in soothing colors. There is artwork throughout the house.

Great Time!

This house was wonderful and I couldn't have asked for a better location! It gave us wonderful privacy from the beach traffic, but was close enough to everything to walk. I don't think we used the car to get around the island all week. The pool and dock were both great, and the people in the neighborhood were so friendly!

The house provided everything we needed and was spacious enough for the whole family, including the pets! It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was awesome for cooking dinners, and there was plenty of dinner seating for everyone.

I'd highly recommend this house for its open floor plan, super comfortable beds, great decks, and awesome amenities. Folly Beach is awesome too--I suggest all of the restaurants, especially Taco Boy and Snapper Jack's!

Perfect for our 2 families of 4!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful property! The layout was fantastic and gave all 8 of us plenty of room to relax and enjoy our vacation. The kids loved the bunk bed room with attached bath! The master bedroom has THE MOST COMFORTABLE BED EVER! The downstairs bedroom was very comfortable as well! Everything is as pictured. Very clean and fully stocked! Check-in/out was a breeze! Easy walking distance to the shops and beach and the owner has lots of beach amenities in the garage as well as a wagon to haul it all over there - super easy with the kids! We loved sitting in the screen porch at night with a beverage. Made some really yummy meals on the grill. Enjoyed watching tv with surround sound while doing our beach laundry. The owner was very easy to communicate with and we had no issues as the one reviewer mentioned. I can't find anything to complain about so don't let that review sway you. We will definitely be back! We're actually staying in Mount Pleasant this week and feel cramped compared to this property - I miss it! We even accidentally left behind a stuffed animal that Debbie was kind enough to meet up with us to return to a very relieved little girl!

Deb thank you so much for letting us do Saturday to Saturday, the condo was more then we expected. Super clean and everything was just so perfect. The 2 new bikes in the garage were great, you have everything you need for the beach and that was totally unexpected. We will tell all our friends and we look forward to staying next spring. The beds are super nice, we have rented homes on folly for over 6yrs now and we have found that this place is purfect in every way. God bless and see yall next spring.

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed staying in this condo. The property manager was fantastic and so helpful. She was just a phone call or email away anytime I had a question from the time of booking through checkout.

The condo was very comfortable and matched the description. It is very well stocked with needed items. We all enjoyed the screened in porch everyday. It is very family friendly, we enjoyed the puzzles and beach equipment.

Great food all just a short walk from the condo as was the beach.

We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing your condo with us.

Great Vacation!

We really liked the spacious & comfortable townhouse, which was in a quiet area. My favorite place in the house was the private screened-in balcony on the 1st floor overlooking palm trees. Had a little trouble opening/closing a screen door on 2nd floor balcony, but it didn't deter us from accessing the balcony . Townhouse location was very convenient to beach, restaurants, grocery shopping, & downtown. Pleasantly surprised that several restaurants in Folly Beach had varied & delicious vegetarian options for me. Townhouse owner, property mgr & locals were very friendly & helpful. Weather was grand....beautiful blue sky most days, temperatures in the 60's. Our cat felt right at home & loved soaking up the sunbeams throughout the house. We were sorry to see our Folly Beach vacation come to an end. We'd like to visit again & stay in this luxurious-feeling townhouse.
