Beautiful Lakefront Log Home - Call for special offer 2-9-12 to 2-14-12

We travelled from Canada to spend the Christmas holidays at this beautiful home. This cozy and comfortable hideaway is even better than it looks in the advertising! We were not disapointed. We arrived to find everything as promised, Dennis and Karen went above and beyond to make us feel at home. There was wood in the fireplace ready to be lit up when we got there. The pool table was a nice touch. We also enjoyed the i-pod dock and sound system. The home is very spacious and practicle. It was nice to have three bathrooms. Traverse City has great food and wine. We definitely want to come back. Thank you Dennis for helping us create lasting holiday memories with our extended family.

We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday...and the views were spectacular-inside and out! The inside decor was amazingly quaint, rustic, inviting and luxurious all at the same time. We enjoyed the outside views from all over the house! Waking up was always a scenic delight. We didn't want to leave the house much at all...we found ourselves buying grocercies and eating 'at home', instead of 'eating out'. Although the drive into town is quite a sight to see...and we recommend Jolly Pumpkin for a family day/night on the town. The amenities were much more than expected and our host; Dennis, was extremely personable, very accomodating (before, during, and after our stay)...could not ask for anyone better!

A group of friends and I recently spent a week at Dennis' place on Long Lake and could not have had a better experience. The home is truly beautiful (the pictures don't do it justice!) and Dennis was an extremely gracious host, even taking a small group of us out on the boat when we first arrived. While the weather was a bit too cold to make use of the kayaks, we spent many a night down at the fire pit on the lake roasting marshmallows and admiring the very active Northern Lights!

We had a group of eight adults and had plenty of space in the cabin. We made good use of the beautiful kitchen, which was well-stocked with all the essentials (spices, appliances, kitchenware, etc.). I would recommend this cabin to anyone and hope to make a return visit in the spring or summer when the weather is a bit warmer! Thanks so much for your hospitality, we couldn't have been more pleased!
