Gorgeous Malibu Vacation

We just spent a week in this lovely home in Malibu and enjoyed it immensely. There are two nice sized bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, as well as a small kitchen area with a table and 3 chairs, microwave and small frig. It was very clean and well-appointed . . . lush towels, comfortable bedding, beautiful hardwood floors, even beach towels and a couple of beach chairs were available. Use of the owner's upper patios was made available to us (both open and covered areas) and they provided us with the most spectacular views of the ocean, which you can actually hear! The home is gorgeous and you will feel as if you are a rich, Hollywood mogul living in this place! It is located in a very quiet hilltop spot, a few hundred feet from the Pacific Coast Highway. Many beaches are nearby, and it was quick and easy to get to Santa Monica, if Malibu is too quiet for you. Dukes was a great nearby place for Fish Taco's. Pepperdine is right up the road as well. Check out the Inn of the Seventh Ray if you want a romatic place for dinner. We hiked at Temescal, which was great and challenging! This home is a great choice for a week or so; it's a little small, but we had four people in it for the week, and it worked out fine. We ate all of our meals out, except for one take-out at a local Thai place. Finally found the Coffee Beanery at Cross Creek in Malibu at the end of the week, which is a good alternative to Starbucks! The owner was very helpful, offered to assist with anything we needed, but left us alone to enjoy our week. Overall, it was a great experience. I'd highly recommend!
