Scenic Views and Blue Angels:
Incredible scenic views precede your arrival to Pensacola Beach, which stretches nearly 8 miles of the 40-mile-long Santa Rosa barrier island, surrounded by the Santa Rosa Sound and Gulf of Mexico to the north and south and on either side by the federally protected Gulf Island National Seashore.
Be sure to check out the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola. It is the winter home of the Blue Angels who perform here in July each year.
In the Summer the trolleys are here. Hop on the trolley and ride to your favorite spot on Pensacola Beach. The trolleys run from 6pm until midnight on Fridays, noon until midnight on Saturdays and 5 to 10 pm on Sundays. Trolleys will make a loop throught the Casino and Quietwater parking lots and will stop at each marked stop approximately every 30 minutes. The best thing is it is FREE.
