Beautiful Solana Beach, ocean view home located on .25 acre of land with very private back yard, less than 5 minutes from the beach! Located in a residential nieghborhood, ideal for families. Back yard has a walk down to a lagoon with hiking trails, as well as to the nearby famous Cedros shopping district with commuter train (travels N & S of entire county). Del Mar Race track and Del Mar Beach 2 miles, La Jolla is a 10 minute drive. Sea-World, Legoland, the Zoo, historical Old-Town, & much more. Disneyland is a 45 minutes north, and Mexico is 45 minutes south. The Airport is 13 miles away. Our 2-story home is divided up into 1600 sq ft of living space w/ 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on 2nd floor, with a 200 squ ft studio with bath on first floor, with private entrance (Ideal for a nanny or mother-in-law etc.) Also on the 1st floor is a 1 bedroom apartment that is rented to a year-round, very quiet tenant who has a private entrance via a separate street w/no access to house.

Ideal home for families with children.: Our home is located on 1/4 acre of land with a large backyard with playset and sand box. The yard is completely fenced in, making it exceptionally safe for children. Also available for use are beach chairs & umbrellas, sand toys. We also have lots of toys and games for children and adults as well. The living room has a 56' flat screen tv, cd player, and stereo surround. We are located in a residential nieghborhood that is very quiet and family oriented, but minuts away from highway 5, and local beach shops and resteraunts.

attached 1 bedroom apartment: We offer our home at a reduced rate as we have a year-round 1 bedroom apartment that is attached to our home (note: this is not the studio that is available). The tenant is quiet and respectful, and has a private entrance that is located on a different street. Chances are that you will most likely never see or hear him.

What fun we had during our July 4th vacation!

The Solana Beach Cottage was all that we had hoped for and more. The home was inviting and welcoming with a special message for our family on the kitchen message board, a beautiful vase of fresh flowers, and basket of goodies to get us started our first morning (coffee and bagels). We grilled our dinners on the back deck almost every evening, watched the hot air balloons float over head and kept up with the Tour de France on the Wide Screen TV. The Cottage is lovely, comfortable, and kid friendly.
