Set on a hillside terrace, 'Casa Holmes' has won several awards and been featured on tv and in magazines and books on Latin American architecture. Every room and bathroom has a view not to be missed. People are spellbound when they first enter the our home. The house fits harmoniously on the site. Casa Holmes even incorporates the granite base rock into its living spaces. We have taken great care to provide our guests with a memorable stay.Ammenities include: library on the flora, fauna & culture of the region, as well as pool-side reading, an infinity lap pool,private decks, imported bathrobes, local organic bath products, maid service & much more. Just a 4 minute walk down our hill to the beach, a 12 minute walk to the center of town, 25 minutes from airport. The location of this private villa is outstanding. About the Architect: Victor Cañas a 'tropical modernist' designed our home. Solidity of material combined with a lightness and openness makes it a remarkable retreat!

Notes: Accessibility : Although our desire was to make this as accessible as possible we would like as much advance warning as possible to make it even easier to access. Our goal was for family with a member with a disability to really enjoy a fabulous vacation to Costa Rica! All the main living areas including deck and kitchen are accessible. The main bathroom is designed as an accessible bathroom, raised toilet, shower,etc... There is bedroom with a queen size bed that is wheel chair accessible with its own sink . Young Children: Again we also wanted to make our elegant home a place to retreat for adults, friends and family. We were also thinking with future grand children in mind. The reality is it is not safe for very young children. As much as we would like to rent to families with all ages I would like to talk to anyone in advance who is truly interested about our house layout.
