This unique home, the Octagon, is at the private end of a peninsula with over 2,000 feet of waterfront and manicured trails and walkways along the water's edge. It is truly stunning everywhere you look.
There is a huge great room with a fully outfitted kitchen, dining and living areas, complete with a wood burning stove. No matter where you are, you have views of the lake. The woodwork is phenomenal throughout the house and many of the furnishings were made by Thomas Moser or Jan Hollyer, another master craftsman in VT.
All living is on one floor. The master bedroom features a king bed, a full master bath, and a sliding door to the deck overlooking the lake. The second bedroom has two queens and the third bedroom has one queen. There is another full bath with a stainless steel shower. The studio bedroom, just 75' from the house, has a queen bed, but no bath.
When you’re not outside, there is a TV with Direct TV®, DVD player, radio, lots of games, books, and puzzles to keep everyone amused, and of course, high-speed wireless Internet connectivity. The wood stove keeps it warm and toasty on those sometimes chilly nights and is a great place to catch up on your reading, share a conversation, or have those belly-laughing good times when you’re gathered together. The house is heated as well.
The lean-to and fire pit overlooking the water are the perfect setting for cookouts, campfires, S'mores and sing-a-longs. The grill-meisters will love the huge, fully adjustable grill that is part of the fire pit.
Whether you are outside or in, you will absolutely love it here. Come stay at the Octagon and create memories that will last a lifetime.
