Rented through Century 21
When we arrived there was broken chairs and glass beer bottles in the drive. Cleaned that up, then got into the house and it was dirty! There was hair and dust and lent on the bathroom floors mainly in master bath, there was crumbs on the counters, there was boots and deck paint cans on the deck! You cant see the water from the house so when going down to the dock we realized we couldn't even use the because the water was about a foot deep and the whole reason we rented the house was to use our boat. The stairs where broke off the dock and there was construction stuff around the back off the house. We wrote Century 21 a letter about this. We were told the owner we didnt have to pay a cleaning fee... and we could pick another weekend on the the owner to make it up. This was the last weekend before school started. So when the next season came around and we called Century 21 to set up our weekend we were told, the owner meant a free 3 day weekend during the off season only. Because he only rents weekly during summer months; but we rented the house the prior end of summer season for 3 day over the weekend. After arguing back and forth it never did get resolved he never just reimbursed us which he offered to do at first or give us a free 3 day weekend. Not a very nice way to treat a customer! Do not recommend La Dolce Vita!
