Marco Island is six miles long and four miles wide, and is famous for it's three and a half mile white sand beach and lush tropical foliage. Winter days are sunny and warm, summer days are rarely above the mid 90's and are cooled by ocean breezes. Some of the world's finest fishing is found in and around the Marco area, particularly in the backwaters and off the reefs. Beach fishing is also very productive. South Seas is conveniently located in the heart of the island. There are many fine golf courses on Marco, or within a short driving distance.
