A wonderful 50th anniversary celebration week

We had a marvelous week at Robyn and Doug's, celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with our two sons and their families. The house is spacious, and the various spaces on the living floor flow into one another nicely. (And little ones love the kitchen island as a feature to run or walk around.) There are many opportunities for group and individual activities in the house, since there are a number of adjoining spaces, as well as several decks on two floors. The house is a very peaceful retreat after a day on the beach, boardwalk, etc., and it's conveniently near to many attractions. Here are just a few: Big Fish restaurant and many others, Jungle Jim's water park, a farmers' market on Tuesday as well as other fresh food options everyday, the Henlopen nature trail, Robyn and Doug's canoe not far away, their bikes, etc., etc. Rehoboth Beach lived up to its great reputation as a family beach and is kept very clean, and we and the children enjoyed the excitement of the boardwalk with its games--and prizes! A fun activity is renting bikes of various sorts in town; we rented a surrey that accommodated all eight of us, with four people pedalling. The house is tastefully decorated and lived up to all of our expectations, and Robyn was wonderful about answering questions before and during our stay. Everyone loved it!
