Perfect for couples or the entire family, Woodland Lake Retreat, in a gated community is furnished to sleep 8 and has breathtaking views from every window. The inviting great room with its full lakeside windows, wood-burning stone fireplace and cathedral ceiling is a wonderful place to gather and unwind. Lie in bed and drink in views from the main floor master bedroom with it's queen-sized bed and in-suite master bath with direct access to the deck and viewing platform. The matching spacious upstairs bedrooms have personal balconies and queen-sized beds. The downstairs playroom has a futon, TV, air hockey/foosball table. Private pier in a no-wake cove makes for a safe swimming area with quick access to open area for boating, tubing, jet skiing, etc.

Huge DVD Library:: Snuggle in front of the flagstone fireplace and enjoy one of the wide range of DVDs on the Satellite-equipped TVs. Play foosball or air hockey when the weather keeps you inside or take a jump into the lake from our private pier. Easily reached through our 1 acre wooded lot.

Launch Once at Community Boat Ramp: : Plenty of parking for your trailer and tie up at our pier for you entire stay. And your 4-legged family member is welcome as well. .

Public-side of Lake Anna:: Easy access to the marinas and restaurants with boat docks on the main part of the lake. Located on the public side of Lake Anna with full water access to the state park and marinas located around the lake. Woodland Lake Retreat has a private pier and is towards the mouth of a no-wake cove with a wide area to swim in without worrying about boats and jet skis. Just outside the no-wake zone is an area perfect for skiing and tubing fun.

We had an excellent vacation at the woodland lake home. The home itself is beautiful and was clean when we arrived. We brought our dog who loved the swimming. My only issue was that there is no easy "dog access" in and out of the water. Nice, quiet dock area. Rented a boat and easily used the dock for overnight. Kitchen was fairly well stocked with dishes, however, the pans left a little to be desired. All were teflon finished, but had peeling finish. Will bring a couple of my own pans next year. Ate at Anna Cabanna (right on the water, about a 5 minute boat ride away or a 15 minute drive). Had an enjoyable meal there. The owners of the home made a special trip to replace a broken TV. I told them it wasn't necessary but they insisted. We will definitely return next year.
Owner's Response: Thank you and we look forward to welcoming you back next year. Dogs in the past have used the floating waverunner lifts to get out of the water or have been able to use the rocky area to the left of the pier (as you face the water).
