A family home located in a quiet lakeside area that features a park with a children's playground and a public beach. Close to many Muskegon area attractions. The backyard is fenced in with a picnic table, fire pit, and grill. The house features two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, sunroom, and a utility room with washer and dryer. The house features hard wood floors in the living room and bedrooms with ceramic tile in the kitchen and bath. There is plenty to do in the vicinity. Distance to area attractions includes: 5 miles to Heritage Landing in downtown Muskegon where the Muskegon Summer Celebration Festival and Art Fair are held, 15 miles to Michigan's Adventure Park (the states largest water and amusement park featuring 50 wet and/or wild rides), 9 miles to Muskegon State Park on Lake Michigan, 7 miles to Muskegon Lake, and 7 miles to Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. You are just a few minutes drive to the Lake Michigan shoreline.

Muskegon is full of stuff to do. The Lake Michigan Beach is 3.5 miles away which has some of the nicest sandy beaches in the world. Mona Lake is behind the house 100 yards. The Crosslake Ferry is 4 miles away and makes round trips to Milwaukee daily. We also have a large amusement park about 7 miles away owned by Ceder Point, it is called Michigan's Adventure. They have a deluxe water park and many kid and adult rides including Shivering Timber- the world's largest wooden roller coaster. We have 15 great golf courses within 12 miles; nearby there is a new regional mall called The Lakes Mall. In July, we have a 10 day music festival and in August, we have a 3-day Christian Music Festival and so much more; visit Muskegon's web site and find out more.

Our family stayed at this home while visiting relatives, and we were very pleased. It's residential location is quiet and only a few minutes walking distance from Mona Lake. My children especially loved the park right next to the beach, as well as the fenced-in backyard. I was very happy with the cleanliness, and that the kitchen was so well stocked. My older children most enjoyed hanging out in the new sunroom.

We felt very much at home here, and hope to return in the near future.

Beautiful Vacation Home

My wife and son had the privelage of staying this vacation home last fall and we couldn't be more satisfied.
We based our vacation (traveling from Chicago to Muskegon) on the pictures provided. Quite honestly this is one of the most beautiful homes we have stayed in. We are avid travelers and we would rate this home a 10 of 10.
Not only is the home very quiet and peacefull it is also very central to other venues. A wonderful location and the cleanliness was 5 star.
I would recommend this property to anyone and everyone and we plan on booking this property for another vacation for the fall of '09.

Stayed there twice

I have stayed at this house twice and have been completely satisfied with it both times. It is exactly what the property owner describes and is close to everything. The last time we stayed there we celebrated my birthday in the backyard at the fire pit. Incredible evening spent just minutes away from the best water in MI. I definitely reccomend the house to anyone looking for a great place to get away.
