These five condos are smoke-free condos in the Marine Surf Waikiki, 364 Seaside Avenue, are located in the heart of Waikiki one block from the beach.
These spacious accommodations offer upgraded interiors featuring fully-equipped kitchens with four-burner range and oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. Three large studios sleep four adults comfortably on a queen bed and queen sofa bed, and two studios sleep two adults on one king bed. A lanai (balcony) with table and chairs offers sunset and city views.

I have been in Honolulu now for over 20 years and have been in the vacation rental business for over 18 years. I began with just one condo and now own and manage 12 condo's in several buildings in Waikiki.

Waikiki has long been a leading destination for world travelers with its rich history and beautiful location. In recent years many improvements were made to the beaches, parks, shopping and dining establishments, as well as many of the hotels. Our condos offer the traveler comfortable accommodations at prices far below those quoted by the hotels. Additionally, I currently am the board President for the entire building's condo association.
Our condos are only a short walk to the famous section of Waikiki Beach, and are in the center of all shopping and dining venues. The Marine Surf Waikiki is one of the few buildings in Waikiki which includes assigned parking with each condo, and its central location makes for easy access to and from Waikiki.
We absolutely loved our accommodation at the condo in Marine
Surf..everything about it was fabulous...location, the comfort and layout of
the condo, the car parking and the convenient car space, free stable WIFI,
ease of accessing lifts and car park etc. We loved the fact that you never
waited for a lift and the lobby was not PACKED with people all the
time...everything was perfect! Loved having the stove
and micro and good utensils. Also loved that you leave the "leftovers" from
other travellers of some cans and condiments.
Thanks Thomas for a great stay. We will definitely recommend to a few
friends of ours who are now considering Hawaii with the new direct service
from our city..although with the hit in our dollar that may change people's
destination ideas. Waikiki is also so much more expensive than the other
islands but it is still a great destination..
Amazingly perfect in every way......perfect location, perfect room with perfect amenities. We really could not have found a better place to stay. Within a few hours we were unpacked, relaxing and planning out the rest of our vacation. Nick made our stay very comfortable and was extremely informative when it came to the ins and outs of the island and letting us know the finer points that we should be sure to visit before we left. He was dead on with every recommendation. The entire building is very secure to the outside world be features open air hallways and large patios so you can easily enjoy the ocean breeze and amazing views. Parking in downtown Waikiki is impossible to find. Having a dedicated parking spot in a secured lot gave us peace of mind when parking our rental car for our entire vacation. Without realizing the other had done it, my husband and I both took about four of Nick's business cards so we could recommend him to any of our friends and family who plan to visit the island. To answer the question if we would recommend this condo, ABSOLUTELY! Would we recommend renting from Nick, ABSOLUTELY! Have we already begun to plan our next trip to the islands, before we even checked out! Thank you Nick and we WILL see you again in the future.
This condo was just what we were looking for! Great location, quiet, clean and well maintained, free internet, AND free garage parking! The place had everything we needed and was close to all kinds of great restaurants and shopping!
I would highly recommend this place and Nick was a pleasure to work with. I'll be booking from him again soon! :)
It was my first time ever booking through a private owner. So I was a little skeptical at first. But Thomas was an excellent host. He answered all my emails and texts very quickly so that made me more at ease. I stayed in #1602 and everything was as pictured. The parking space was a must for me since I had a rental car and didn't want to search around for parking in the area. If I ever go back to Hawaii, I will for sure book through Thomas again.
My wife and I recently stayed in #1703 for 5 nights. We greatly enjoyed our stay. The condo and its amenities were exactly as advertised, and it was clean and overall a nice place to come "home" to after the day's activities. The location was right in the heart of Waikiki, within walking distance to just about everything - only 2 blocks to the beach. That said, the free parking space was invaluable as we had a rental car during our whole stay. The use of key fobs to enter the garage/lobby/elevator made the building feel secure. While there is a bit of an ocean view between buildings, don't expect to see the beach from the bed, but we knew that ahead of time.
The bed was comfy and the A/C worked well - something we really appreciated during an unusually hot week without any trade winds. We didn't use any of the kitchen amenities other than the fridge and some glasses (too many good restaurants nearby!), but everything was included to cook all your meals if you're inclined. It was also nice to have beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and a cooler provided, which made outings to the beach enjoyable.
We only had minor gripes - the bath was intermittently slow to drain, but we reported this to the owner so I'm sure this will be resolved. We also found the free wi-fi to be fairly slow, and the TV is positioned so you can't see it from bed. I know, it's petty to complain about these since we were on vacation in paradise, but it took all night to download a travel app to my phone, and it'd be nice to watch a show before going to sleep, so it's worth noting.
Overall we were very happy with our choice and would be happy to stay there again.
Thomas was a wonderful host and the property was exactly as described. Clean, wonderfully located, quiet, super comfy bed and linens, lovely lanai!
We loved parking our car in the garage and going about on foot to Korean BBQ, delicious udon, great souvenir shopping, beach gear at Ross (across the street), walks to Waikiki, etc.. And when we wanted to jump in our car and head to a Hawaiian bakery, shopping mall, faraway beach, meet up with a friend...it was easy as 1-2-3!
I would definitely come back to this little studio! Owner was friendly, communicative and helpful and property was just awesome. Mahalo nui loa!
When we arrived we were very surprised to not be in the condo shown in the photos. It was not updated and did not have a king sized bed. I contacted the owner and he answered immediately and handled the situation very well. Thomas recently acquired more units in the same building and it became apparent that there was a communication gap in our not understanding we were booked into a different unit. Thomas handled the situation very well and was quite concerned about our having a good trip. In the end, we were very satisfied with how Thomas handled the situation and we'd definitely give him another chance when we return. He also said he plans to update the new additional units he has acquired. Thomas is a great guy and really wants to keep his customer's satisfied. My lesson learned when booking condos is to always ask if I'm getting the unit shown in the photos.
