Conveniently located for all of your typical vacation wants and needs. Plenty for kids and those adults who are still kids at heart to do. The surrounding area and Oceanside Village is far less congested so you can feel relaxed rather than stressed on your vacation. OSV is a gated community with 6 entrances for your safety and convenience. Business Rt. 17 boarders the West end and the Ocean boarders the East. Outdoor Pool - 2 minutes via cart from the unit. Ball Field & Tennis Courts, Community Center (new ’05), Indoor Pool, Fitness & Media Center (fall '06 refurbishment of former community center) - 3 minutes via cart from the unit. Beach - 4 minutes via cart from the unit. You choose your mode of transportation, car-walk-bike-golf cart. Secured beachfront parking is available for OSV residents. This community is motorcycle friendly with many of the popular hang outs just minutes away. Airport is just 12 minutes away heading north on Business 17.
Conveniences:
We're recently added Visa / MC as payment options. If you pay via cash, check, money order the rate will be discounted 5%. A golf cart is now included in our pricing giving you added conveniece ($279 savings from on site cart rental facility). One must be at least 16 yrs old and possess a valid drivers license (not permit) to operate the cart, stricktly enforced by OSV security.
During the summer season a air conditioned shuttle runs to and from our sister community to the beach on the 1/2 hour. There is a stop very close to our home (rumor has it the driver is accomodating when possible)
Golf:
Golf courses abound from 5-60 minutes away. Stay with us and save up to $200 a day per foursome on many of the areas most challenging layouts. Across the street is the Tupelo Golf Community that offers 2 eighteen hole putt putt courses at Run Away Bay, a pitch & put course, driving range, and an Executive Course that gives you all the challenges short of distance.
