This luxurious, year round log cabin has it all!! The Cabin is nestled on a hillside with panoramic views overlooking crystal clear, nine mile long Schroon Lake. Rent our pontoon boat and take your whole group on an adventure of fun and discovery. Docked at your private boat slip, you can cruise to the Town docks for shopping, dinner, or swimming. Enjoy fishing or swimming from the boat. Anchor in a secluded area and take a dip or best of all, just drift along and enjoy. After your busy day, come home to the privacy of your own authentic log cabin. Relax on the spacious deck overlooking six miles of the lake, or sit and enjoy a cozy evening campfire. Inside kick back and get comfortable in this beautiful genuine log cabin. Enjoy the majestic natural stone fireplace, or take a relaxing soak in the Jacuzzi tub. Enjoy a movie in the loft or a game of ping pong, foosball, or electronic darts in the basement. Relax and Enjoy!!

Special WINTER/SPRING rate - 2 nights - $780!!

Ski at nearby Gore or famous Whiteface Mountain near Lake Placid. A beginner? Try FREE skiing with rope tow at the local Schroon Lake Golf Course.

Not a skier? The Cabin is equipped with 4 sets of snowshoes and a family size toboggan. Enjoy snowshoeing, cross country skiing, or snowmobiling from the Cabin. Toboggan at the Golf Course, or skate in town at the FREE rink. Ice fishing equipment is available upon request.

Skiing is great in the Eastern Adirondacks and the Schroon Lake Log Cabin is right between two of the best ski centers in the east. Gore Mountain and Whiteface Mountain. Whiteface is a bit of a drive, but Gore is nearby.

Enjoy skiing during the day and relaxing around the cozy fireplace at night. We will keep plenty of firewood on hand to keep your fire crackling.

SPRING - Love to hike? Schroon Lake offers a wonderland of hiking trails. Easy: Hike around the wooded 10 acres of the Cabin property. Moderate: Severance Mountain - 1.5 miles to a panoramic view at the top. Difficult: Pharoah Mountain - 2.5 miles to fire tower at top. More Difficult: Mount Marcy and other Adirondack High Peaks in the surrounding area.

Other Activities: Summer-motor boating, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, ADK High Peaks hiking, Fort Ticonderoga, Crown Point Fort, Stone Bridge and Caves, summer band stands and concerts.

Saratoga Performing Arts Center within 1 hour. Lake George attractions within 30 minutes.

Winter -located centrally to major ski resorts. Gore Mountain and West Mountains 20-30 minutes to the south. Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid are one hour to the North. Several major Vermont peaks to the East.

The cabin is equipped with 4 pairs of snowshoes, ice fishing gear and a family toboggan so you can enjoy any or all outdoor winter sports right here in Schroon Lake! You never know how fun it is until you've tried all these!

Fall and Spring- Beautiful time of year at Schroon Lake. The Adirondacks are your playground! The mountains offer hiking, sightseeing, relaxing or sitting around a campfire with old friends or family(firewood provided)

Golf: Schroon Lake Municipal Golf Course

Ski: Gore Mountain Ski Center is a premier ski center. It is nearby and can be easily accessed by taking Route 28 from the south end of the lake.

Whiteface Mountain is the Olympic Mountain and is world class. It is a ways to the northwest of Schroon Lake, but is still in the same county as the cabin. Essex County.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (US Dollar) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • $1695 per week.
  • WEEKLY: To reserve the property for the week, $700 is due upon reservation. The remaining balance of $995 plus a security deposit of $300 is due one month prior to your stay.
    PARTIAL WEEK: For a partial week stay, the cost is $325 per night, minimum stay is 3 nights. $350 is due upon reservation and the balance plus the $300 security is due one month prior to your stay.
    WEEKEND SPECIAL (OFF SEASON): Friday - Sunday - $780
    All security deposits are refunded within two weeks after departure provided the Log Cabin and premises are left clean and undamaged. New this year, for our guests only, we are offering an 18' pontoon boat at a discounted rate of only $775 per week. This boat is equipped with life jackets and all required safety equipment. A $200 refundable deposit is required with boat rental.

WE HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME!

With permission, verbatim from our Guest Comments Sheet: "We had such a great time this week. The Cabin is incredible! The boat ran great! The only negative was that the road to the cabin was rough. Very challenging for our motorcycles. Might be looking to rent for 2 weeks next year. The deco of the cabin is complete Adirondacks! We felt like we were secluded, but yet close to everything by boat and by car! The fire pit was awesome for the late night smores and chatting around the fire! The lake is so peaceful. We only had one day of heavy rain, but we enjoyed puzzles together. Looking forward to coming back. Thanks for everything!
