Enjoy the surroundings of Makaha Valley with magnificent breath taking views of the Waianae mountain range, the valley splendor, and the gorgeous colorful sunsets over the pacific ocean from your lanai. The Honolulu Airport is approximately 35 minutes away, so a rental car is highly recommended, a short drive from the airport to the Makaha Valley that features all the amenities needed to enjoy the simplest pleasures of paradise in Hawaii. The colorful peacocks roam freely throughout the valley and the property putting on a spectacular show of there amazing colors. Hawaii's royalty used Makaha Valley for their recreation on account of the sunniest weather on the whole island. Close to the beach, just minutes down Kili Drive to the Makaha Beach Park where the waves are said to be the largest surf in Hawaii. Enjoy watching all the surfers and boogie boarders or partake yourself. Rental shops near by will help you chose a board. Also look for the whales during whale season.

Smoking permitted on Lanai only. Laundry Huts located on property $1 wash and dry (quarters). Local phone calls only, long distance will need personal calling card. Printer available with computer. One mile down the Kili Drive is Makaha Beach Park which is rated the second best Diving/Snorkling on Oahu and is a popular surfing beach.

Great affordable vacation stay

Our stay at the condo was more than we expected. It is beautifully decorated, with all the comforts of home. We especially were appreciative of the computer as that allowed us to keep in touch with home. The grounds were beautifully kept and we loved waking to all the birds everymorning and breakfast on the Lanai. People were friendly and helpful. The only downside was no AC but we made it fine. I would recommend this condo for families or just anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Excellent Condo in Makaha

This was our first time renting a vacation rental by owner. I was a little nervous about things not working out smoothly but everything was perfect. The owner was very friendly, helpful and very easy to work with. We'd stayed at the condo for 3 1/2 weeks. This was a lot more cost effective for my family. Everything was provided for in the condo except groceries. It was very comfy for my family of five--2 adults and 3 children under the ages of 8. The condo was very clean and beautifully decorated.

However the drive was a bit longer than we'd wanted but it was worth the price. I highly recommend this vacation rental.
