A woodsy path takes you down to our large dock, a great spot for sunning, swimming, stargazing. Canoe, kayaks and a row boat await you. Since we are on the quiet side of the point, in a no wake zone, it's a good spot for watching wildlife and fishing.
A short walk brings you to a park with tennis courts, basketball and handball courts, an athletic field, and a playground with covered picnic area. Just a few steps further down Gumbletown Road is Coutt's Blueberry farm, U-pick heaven (and ice cream rewards in the gift shop!) 15 min drive takes you to Hawley for antiquing, farmer's market, spa and fine dining (the Settler's Inn is our favorite). Great golf courses all 30-45 minutes away. In winter, we are only 45 minutes from the best skiing in the Poconos, and Tanglewood, for beginners, is just 5 minutes away.
Walking distance from Coutt's Blueberry farm, playground, handball court, and soccer field. Fine dining in local Hawley-see Settler's Inn. June - wild mountain laurel blooms. July - the wild rhodoenderon are in dark pink bloom. August - wild blueberries and those at the blueberry farm across the way are fruiting. September - the lake is warm and lake peaceful. October - the fall color starts. Winter - start of ski season, and cocoa by the fireside.
