We love our home and you will too! Located in the West End on the entire first floor of a historic 1850s home this 2 bedroom condo is quintessential Provincetown. Sunny and filled with artwork of local artists, the home features original wide-board pine floors, high ceilings, Greek Revival door and window casings, many windows, a large private deck and back yard with gas grill, and parking for one car. From the kitchen window look out to a view of the bay. Each bedroom has a Queen-sized bed, night stand, dresser and closet. Freshly painted for the 2009 season there are also all new towels, bed linens, refrigerator, stove and microwave. There is also a private laundry in the basement. Step out the front door and you are only 1/2 a block from the bay and moments away from the delicious Relish Deli, Sal's Restaurant, Joe's Coffee and the Boatslip.

Beach Access:: We are minutes to bay and ocean beaches by bike. Bicycle rentals are a a short walk down the street and we have a bike rack next to the kitchen entrance to secure your bikes. Bikes are the best way to enjoy Provincetown and we recommend exploring the well-maintained bike paths to the many interesting beaches and ponds nearby.

Location, location, location:: We are on a wonderful side street, between Commercial and Tremont Streets. Truly centrally located and literally minutes from Victor's restaurant, Perry's Liquors, Relish deli and the night life and theater on Commercial Street. Walk or bike to the many options so close by and enjoy of the best things about our West End location.

Englishmen fall in love with PTown condo

We loved this place. We booked it for a week in mid September. We had never been to PTown before and we were booking from London. John, one of the owners, made us feel very welcome in our email exchange before we had even arrived and the practicalities of arranging a rental from abroad were all sorted out by him with ease. We arrived in torrential rain to be met by David who showed us around - the property is full of character and we loved the art work and the way it was furnished. It is a fantastic location - in the west end of town on a quiet side street with a deli at one end and a great liquor shop the other - both within a minutes walk. And the beach is walkable - inf act we walked most places. After the torrential rain we had fantastic hot weather. Due to jet lag we awoke at about 5.30am on our second morning to see the most beautiful sun rise across the bay less than 50 yards from the door of the house. Davids recommendation for a restaurant on the first night - Victors - was spot on and we went back three times. There is also a great restaurant callled the Red Inn a short stroll away looking out over the bay. Such fun we were having that we asked to extend our stay by 4 nights and as the property was free this was happily agreed to by the owners and they went out of their way to arrange the practicalities. The photos are accurate on the website - the deck out the back is larger than it appears in the photo and there is lots of greenary. It gets the sun in the morning for breakfast.There is another condo upstairs and the entrance is round the back up some stairs above the deck. The occupant was away for most of our trip but when he returned he was friendly. This is a great place for a romantic holiday in PTown. You cant go wrong booking it.

Perfect West End Location!!

We have stayed in Provincetown for many summers, and the quintessential west end location is number 1 on our list. This apartment does not disappoint. With tall ceilings, tons of windows, lots of natural light, and a glimpse of the water through the kitchen window - this place has it all. The pictures do not capture how airy the space feels. You can easily accommodate 4 people, and never feel crowded.

This is the best location in Provincetown. Everything is within walking distance - morning coffee, tea dance, dinner, art galleries, beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 weeks here, and would rent again.

I also echo the comments about the owners - they are very attentive and extremely prompt.

Perfect!

We have stayed in a variety of places in Ptown, including other similarly priced weekly rentals, and this place was our favorite. It's the ideal West End location and the house is very thoughtfully done. Even the pantry is stocked with little staples and luxuries that helped me throw together an awesome steak dinner using the gas grill out back (which, by the way, was fastidiously clean). Loved the artwork, loved the linens, loved the details.

Also, I can vouch for the owner's comment that they fixed the dryer -- we used it twice and found it very convenient and in perfect working order. Another plus, these folks are very responsive and easy to work with.

great space, great location, great week

My friends and I have been to Provincetown a number of times, so we're no strangers to the town. And we've stayed at a number of different places. This home was comfortable and exactly as described. We'd definitely stay again.

We especially enjoyed the decor, the layout, the amount of space, and the back deck & grill. The washer & dryer was convenient, too (even if the dryer was a little less than 100% - towels dried easily enough on the outside railings). Additionally, John, the owner, was a pleasure.
Owner's Response: Fear not! We had the dryer serviced. It turns out that the exhaust duct was filled with lint. Joe's Appliance & Repair cleaned it out and the dryer works like a charm. It can dry a load of beach towels in 30 minutes now!

Great place to stay!

A few friends and I stayed here and absolutely loved it! The description was accurate. The house was clean and maintained. Everything we needed was already at the house from cutting boards to beach bags. The convenient location right at the bend in Commercial street in the West End really was fantastic -- quiet when we needed it to be, but close enough to walk to the action. The picture of the back deck doesn't do it justice; it's nicer than it looks. My only negative comment is on the dryer; it took 3 full cycles on hot to get 4 towels dry. If the dryer had worked better, I would have given this place a 5!!
Owner's Response: Fear not! The dryer will be repaired right away! We didn't know that it was not functioning properly.
