Not so good

Ended up in this unit this year due to a water leak in the unit that we had booked. Was told that it was 4 bedrooms but the 4th room (the bunk bed room) doesn't have a door for privacy or a closet (looks like this room was a computer or exercise room and they converted to a bunk bed room for rental purposes). Found small spiders in two of the beds when we got ready for bed the first night. The family room area has a really small tv for that size area (same as bedroom tv's). The ac went out one afternoon but VRBO took care of it and had somebody there and fixed in a couple of hours. There are 18 circular steps between the family room/kitchen (2nd level) and the front door (first level) that you must climb about umpteen times a day. There is a beautiful pool directly behind the unit. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes and is a tough walk with chairs, coolers, etc. but you can drive over to a parking lot right next to the boardwalk. Would not stay here again.

Owner's Response: We spoke to the Sept 15th guests several times after the move, and they seemed very pleased because we had moved them to an upgraded property from the one they had rented! None of the items they listed were conveyed to us during any of those conversations with the exception of the a/c repair which as they stated we addressed timely and was repaired within 2 hours. I am glad the guests enjoyed the beautiful pool at the home! And that they were pleased with the urgency in our response time when there is any mechanical issues which are beyond our control! The home has living area, kitchen and master on the 2nd floor to enjoy the view of the lagoon style pool in the back yard. There are two bedrooms on the first floor and a large bunk room with access to a patio outside. As for the Bunk Room..it is large with a window and Glass French doors and is classified as a bedroom in the Walton County Florida tax records.
Everyone has there own taste/preferences and the home they had rented and were moved from, was more of a cottage style townhome. It was a second floor unit of the building, (no elevator), it had 3 bedrooms on that floor with an additional bedroom as a loft with winding staircase to the loft. We tried to move them to a property as close to the one they rented as possible, with this home being an up upgrade from the unit they had rented. We regret they were unable to remain in the original unit booked. I'm glad they used he parking area by the beach access to carry the chairs/coolers. The distance to the beach was very close if not identical to beach walk of the unit from which they were moved. St. Tropez is a Mediterranean gated neighborhood with a huge lagoon style pool and hot tub and beach access directly across the street. We appreciate our guests, and strive to accommodate all of our guests in the most efficient and courteous manner possible. :-)
