A wonderful, peaceful home for Winter or Summer holidays. Artistically and comfortably furnished for visitors from babies to grandparents. The house sits on one of the highest roads above Canmore with the advantage of being able to hike or cross country ski from the back door or stroll down into town. 3 large sunny decks and a back yard that is fenced and secluded making it the perfect spot for a hot tub, barbecues or quiet relaxation. The house has both open wood and gas fireplaces. A reading nook with views of mountain peaks. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and there is a dining table and seating for 10 people. Cable TV, wireless internet, bikes, toys, games and numerous books, all combine to give you a holiday never to forget.

Some of the world's best hiking is on your doorstep and the major ski resorts of Sunshine, Norquay and Lake Louise are within easy driving distance. Spectacular scenery for touring, 5 major golf courses within half an hour, fly fishing on the Bow River, horseback riding trails and endless opportunities to both mountain bike and cycle. Canmore and Banff (20 minutes' drive) have every type of restaurant one could ask for, fabulous spas and some of the best winter sports and outdoor clothing shops. The Banff Centre has concerts, ballet, plays and the world renowned Mountain Book Festival. Calgary is an hour's drive, in July one could enjoy visiting the Calgary Stampede by the day.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Minimum one week stay
  • For the benefit of all our guests we operate a no pets and no smoking policy.
    US $1000 deposit to make reservation by cheque or Paypal. This amount will act as a damage/cancellation deposit.
    Full rent is due 60 days prior to commencement of stay.
    Cancellations more than 60 days out will forfeit the $1000 deposit, unless the requested dates can be filled.
    Cancellations received less than 60 days before stay will forfeit the deposit and 50% of rental fee unless the requested dates can be filled.
    Cancellations less than 30 days out will forfeit all monies paid unless the requested dates can be filled, in which case, only the deposit would be forfeited.
