This historic stone barn is set back from the road on a beautiful 80+ acre farm in the hills above the Delaware River. The living space is dramatic. The ground floor includes a kitchen/dining area with barn beam banquet table, laundry area, and full bath. The upper level has old wood plank floors, exposed stone walls, and glass ceiling panels (to keep in the warmth in Winter) that showcase the unfinished barn structure. It is made up of a full family room with over-stuffed chairs, ping-pong/pool table, wood stoves, and bar area, plus a main bedroom with full bath including bath tub with jets. Sheep and a pair of donkeys live nearby. The barn renter is free to use the pool, tennis court, and walking trails throughout the farm and its six acre wild flower meadow walk.

We are located in the hills above the Delaware River in Tinicum Township, Bucks County. This township has retained its rural roots and character, and there are spots on our farm from which one can see no other human habitation. Our farm is set back far from the road and we enjoy complete privacy, and yet we are located a 10 minute drive or 20 bike ride on a canal tow path from the quaint old river town of Frenchtown, New Jersey. Lots of fine dining nearby in old mills and taverns. A nice place to live or visit.

My husband & I spent a week here over the New Year's holiday & we wish it had been a month. The barn is as beautiful as the pictures, spacious and warmly decorated. You feel at home at once. We were looking for a relaxing winter holiday and got it - this was the perfect place to read & play games by the wood stoves, cook, & hike the wonderfully large swath of property. For the more active, there are additional recreational activities even in winter, which the hosts can recommend.

The hosts are friendly & helpful (definitely take their advice on the butcher - delicious!) & their dog Bridget is a sweetheart. We would 100% recommend this to any friends or family and fully intend to return in the future. We brought most of the food/wine we wanted with us, so we can't comment on the the area supermarkets, altho there is one in the nearby town. If you bring any specialty cooking tools you can't do without (mini food processor, meat thermometer, etc.), everything else you need will be there!

Budd Farm is something very special...... It is like
your own private spa, with the pool and tennis
court, one does not need to walk far for complete
relaxation and exersize. The barn is huge with lots
of room, and very comfortable bedroom... the
walking forever on their land is a rare gift. Most
importantly to us were the kindness of our hosts,
Boyce and Karen

We will alway remember you and hopefully return
next year

If you want to find enchantment,go to this Bucks
County barn.When I entered all I could say was"Wow"!
I never wanted to leave.Every little nook and cranny is
so special,and I was so wrapped up in the aura of it
all.both inside and out.Do your self a favor.Don't miss
