Located in town but just outside of all the hustle and bustle. We are within walking distance to hiking trails in Acadia National Park and all the downtown amenities. Our home offers 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths including a luxurious master suite with jacuzzi tub and custom walk-in double headed shower. The fenced in backyard along with the back deck is perfect for that summer BBQ and outdoor activites. Or relax in a rocking chair on the front covered porch. In the evening take a stroll to town for an ice cream and some sightseeing along the shore path. Our location is perfect for all the things you want to do while in Bar Harbor.

Extra location details: We are located on a one-way street with residential houses all around. At the end of our street is a large ball field, small playground and tennis courts. We are also just steps away from our local YMCA. You can walk to all in town restaurants, shopping and free Island Explorer busses. The busses will take you anywhere (including your bike) in Acadia National park; hiking trails, beach, carriage roads, ect.

4 friends gathered for a week's vacation in Bar Harbor this summer and we could not have chosen a nicer home to call our own; even if it was just for one week. The house was large, clean, and located within a short walk from the center of town. We enjoied the porch swing, the outdoor grill, and the friendly outside cat who visited us each morning. The kitchen was large and inviting. The home owners even allowed guests to use the internet in a lovely study located on the first floor. Would we stay again.....you bet!

Best choice in Bar Harbor

Right from the first inquiry the home owners were prompt and courteous answering all of our questions. They even anticipated what we would need even before we knew we would need it. A fine example of this is when they asked if we would like baby gates assembled prior to our arrival.
The house was spotless from top to bottom and fully furnished with all high end appliances.
The location was perfect. Just tucked away from the main street in a quiet neighborhood.
I could go on and on about the thoughtful details but I think it is sometimes best to discover them for yourself.
You will not be disappointed with this home.

WONDERFUL HOUSE!!!

We just returned from our stay in Bar Harbor, and the only complaint I could make about this house is that the pictures on the website do not do this house justice. It was absolutely beautiful and clean as well. It accommodated our party of 7 that included 4 adults and 3 kids wonderfully. The location is great, it is just outside of all the commotion and congestion of town, but everything is easily accessed and in walking distance which was great considering its nearly impossible to find a parking space in town. The house has a big wrap around deck and fenced in yard which was great for the kids to play in (they also provided all kinds of games and outdoor toys for the kids), the park is also just a block down the street with all kinds of activities. And if your a first time visitor to the area, the owners provide a rather detailed information package of things to do and see, along with guides and menu's to many local restaurants. After a long day of hiking the trails in Acadia, I must say it was great to come home to the master bath and relax in the jacuzzi tub, it was a great way to end the day. So if whether your adventure seeking or just wanna relax onside on the porch swing I would HIGHLY recommend this house I guarantee you WILL NOT be disappointed.
