About Sam Cave
We are a retired couple from Minnesota.
Sam Cave purchased this house in 2007
Why Sam Cave chose Antigua
We chose to buy our winter home(winter in Minnesota)in Antigua because of the perfect weather. Antigua provides a great place to live. It is safe and has lots of amenities, yet provides easy access to the villages and other cities of Guatemala. Antigua provides a respite from the harsher conditions under which many Guatemalans live. We participate with and often act as dinner hosts to educational and mercy groups that come to Antigua before, after, or during their projects.
What makes this house unique
We love to take breakfast on the corridor beside the garden. We often have an evening meal or snack and glass of wine while watching Volcano Fuego spout off or watching the clouds passing Volcano Agua from our second floor patio.
