What a perfect place to stay! The owners see to it that every need is met. The cottage is clean, organized and beautifully decorated with everything you could want in a kitchen. On a rainy day, we made pies! We had the beach to ourselves with the exception of another family about 1/2 km away. Our children, ages 3,9 and 15 all found plenty to do both inside and outside of the cottage. Two rooms have bunk beds with a double bed on the bottom and a single on top. The master bedroom has sliding glass doors out to the ocean view. Both bathrooms well stocked with towels, etc. Bring food with you, as the cottage is about 25 minutes from any supermarket, and even these are very small and rather expensive. We delighted in all the local vegetable stands and fresh lobster from the harbor. PEI potatoes, yum! This was the perfect place for us to "unplug", as there was very little else to do in the area besides beach, bike, stargaze and drive around to see the natural beauty. A short trip to the top of the cape to see the windmills was well worth the drive. The owners are very responsive, considerate and pleasant to deal with. The caretakers are also delightful if you need anything or have questions about the area. We will be going back.

Owner's Response: Thank you for this wonderful affirmation of Sea Sand and Stars Cottage. Our goal is to give our guests a pleasant place to relax and holiday. We are glad that the kitchen gave you the opportunity to create and have fun together making those yummy pies. We welcome you to return. Irene and Gene Huber
