Pasadena Vacation Rental house

First of all I must say that Cliff the owner of the house is AMAZING! he was so thoughtful and cared for every little detail in the house. i rented the house for one week for my wedding guest who came all the way from GERMANY. They ALL loved it and felt they were in heaven =). They had an awesome time. Even Cliff spoke to them in GERMAN. They were surprised how good he spoke. This place is a MUST for Germans/Europeans =) My friends loved that the house had a pool and deck where they also had a BBQ.=)
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. If there would be six stars, i would rate this place with 6 STARS=)

Ich muss sagen, dass Cliff der Besitzer des Hauses super nett und er sehr zuvorkommen war. Er hat an jede Kleinigkeit gedacht. Ich habe das Haus fuer eine Woche fuer meine Hochzeitsgaeste angemietet, die aus Deutschland kamen. Alle waren sehr begeistert vom Haus und fuehlten sich wie im siebten Himmel. Alle hatten eine super und unvergessliche Zeit im Haus. Als wir ankamen hat Cliff auch direkt deutsch mit allen geredet. Alle waren begeistert, wie gut er deutsch sprechen konnte. Dieses Haus wuerde ich speziell JEDEM empfehlen, der aus Deutschland oder Europa kommt. Man fuehlt sich wie zu Haus. Meine freunde haben den Pool und die Terasse/Patio genossen. Man konnte sogar grillen. Wenn es mehr Sterne fuer dieses Haus geben wuerde, wuerde ich es 6 Sterne geben. Ich empfehle jedem den Urlaub dort zu verbringen.=)

My family and I recently had the pleasure of visiting this guest home during one of my husband's business trips. I am so glad I did some research and came across this place. The house is beautiful, clean, and private. The heated pool is perfect any time of the day. Cliff is a wonderful host who even went out of his way to get a pack 'n play for our 1 year old daughter to sleep in. He was also kind enough to have some groceries on hand when we arrived so we wouldn't have to run to the store after our long day of travel. My mom traveled with us and the downstairs room was perfect for her. We enjoyed daily walks to the downtown area of Sierra Madre where the restaurants were good and the people were friendly. We liked the "small town" feel of Sierra Madre with the convenience of being close to the city. We traveled to and from LAX without and problem and it was a short drive to my husband's office in Pasadena. We can't wait until we can visit again!

We ( 2 adults , 13 year old and 10 year old girls ) stayed here for 2 weeks end August . House was spotless and fridge fully stocked with essentials ( i count beer and wine as essential ! ), plenty of clean linen and toileteries . Cliff was a charming and helpful host . House is 10 mins walk to centre of small town - pub , restaurants , small supermarket . Very safe neighbourhood , we let our 13 year old walk into town on her own . Pool was clean and a nice size . Kids slept downstairs and had own tv and shower room . Metro to LA 10 mins drive away , free parking at station . We bought season passes to Six Flags ( 45 min drive ) , fantastic value - roller coasters and water park , could have gone every day , kids didn't get bored . Open top bus in LA is a must , Santa Monica pier great fun , Redondo beach & Huntington beach well worth a visit . Don't bother with Venice beach , it's a tip . Pasadena is about 4 stops on Metro , smart shops and good restaurants . We are just hoping Cliff doesn't put his prices up too much so we can return for Breeders Cup in a few years time .... You will NOT be disappointed
