This bright and roomy, ocean-view condominium on the sixth floor overlooks a great beach and the Atlantic. The strong morning sun and cool evening breezes, and the dolphins and pelicans, will make the balcony your favorite place. Sunrises are spectacular, and at the end of the day you will love sitting with a glass of wine on the balcony glider to watch the stars come out, or strolling the long oceanfront promenade. Enjoy the one-half mile, guarded, private beach, the five oceanfront pools, four nearby tennis courts, and indoor pool/fitness center downstairs. You can also hop on the tram for the three-minute ride to Sea Colony West; visit the swans, swim in six more pools (one indoor with fitness center, and one 25-meter lap pool); also 30 more tennis courts (four indoor), and shaded trails. Tennis Magazine ranks Sea Colony in its list of 50 top tennis resorts.

More About the Property: The large, light-filled rooms are fully renovated and decorated with gold-level appointments. Your ocean-view master bedroom has a king-size bed; the second bedroom has two twin beds. There is a queen-size sleep sofa in the living room. Meals are a breeze in the fully-equipped gourmet kitchen. No pets and no smoking. All guests at Sea Colony are required to pay a Recreational Association fee of $35/person/week. Less in the off seasons.

Additional Area Activities: Many Tennis Programs are available at Sea Colony, Fine Golf Courses dot the region, walking distance to the Bethany Beach Boardwalk and Restaurants, Bookstore and Light Shopping. We have been vacationing at Sea Colony for many years and have never stayed in a unit as beautiful as this one. There isn't one thing I would change about it. It is clean, modern, comfortable, fully stocked and has everything you could possibly need on vacation. The owners, Joe and Claire, couldn't be more accomodating and they clean the unit themselves to personally ensure everything is just perfect when you arrive. I would highly recommend renting this condo to anyone.

What a wonderful week at the beach. The condo was beautiful, kept very neat and clean. The beach toys and chairs were a great bonus. We hope we can get back again this summer, if not we will be there again next year. Thank you so much Joe for everything!

Just got back from a most relaxing stay at your place. Went with 2 girlfriends and we had no real expectations, just, for the first time a girl's (mom's) getaway weekend. Well, if we did have any expectations, they surely would have been met the moment we opened the door. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us. We even decided to eat in on Saturday night as we determined that no restaurant could compete with the view from your place! The only down side ... we all had to go home and clean our ovens ... yours put us to shame! Thanks for keeping such a clean place. When you book a place, sight unseen, you never know, but we are ready to reserve your condo for another girl's weekend next year! Thanks again!

What a terrific condo. I could go into how beautiful and CLEAN the Nelan's condo was, but I feel that would be a bit redundant after having read everyone else comments.
We stayed there with our 3 month oldc daughter and our 2 1/2 year old son, and it was perfect for the whole family! Very spacious for all those infant "things" you need to bring.
The kitchen has EVERYTHING you need. We cooked many of our meals there.
The Nelan's condo is wonderful, by FAR one of the best we have ever stayed in.

The Nelan's place was beautifully decorated and perfect in every way.I could go on and on about our stay there but will include the highlights about the condo.The overall color scheme is just like the internet photos. Blues,pale yellows, and white are the colors of the condo.The chairs are very comfy.My husband loved the recliner in the living room. The wide screen tv w/surround is awesome ! I loved the master Bath.It has a large shower done in gorgeous tile and plenty of drawers/granite vanity. I felt pampered. The mattresses were new-slept like a baby.Everything very clean and well thought out. The kitchen had gorgeous granite countertops and new applicances.The laundry room right off the kitchen.The oceanfront view couldn't be better.It has a HUGE balcony.Two doors open from LR AND master bedroom.Super comfy lounge chairs/even a table for 4 on the balcony!Beach toys for kids/cool kites.Beach chairs(so you need not rent them).The 2nd BR has twin beds,also very comfy.Loved the quilts. I bought one similar upon returning home.The Nelans have provided most everything.From cooking supplies to straws. It was a perfect week. We will definitely return.
