DIVINELAND! ACTUALLY OWNER OPERATED WITH EXPANSIVE LAKE VIEWS!

My sister-in-law, myself, and HOOT THE DOG just spent a week in this lovely well appointed home. The good taste of Tex and Rebecca is evident in this large and comfortable lake view home. Top of the line appliances and the very comfortable furniture. The view from the deck was amazing, we saw Deer, a Red Fox right down below. We had a visit from a curious Raccoon, much to Hoot's dismay. Then you have the view of Shadow Lake. Loved the town and shops (maybe a little too much $$). Very short drive to RMNP which we were fortunate enough to be in the midst of a magnificent herd of Elk and listen to their "night music" as in bugling. Got to record it almost every night. Thought I died and went to heaven. This is by far the most beautiful place I have been in Colorado. We hated to leave and wished we could of had one of those freak Colorado snow storms and stayed over. Tex was delightful to deal with, nice guy.

We thank both Tex and Rebecca for sharing their beautiful home with us and making it our favorite vacation ever.

We chose Divineland for a long weekend sister getaway. It was just what the doctored ordered! We were hoping to find a home to stay in that allowed us to be in nature, have gorgeous views, was comfortable, clean, provided enough space for all 4 of us, close to Rocky Mountain National Park, and allowed us to either hang out or go out. Tex is awesome! His home is awesome! It is beautiful and cozy and well cared for, so much so that except for our time in RMNP and a town shopping excursion, we just hung out at home enjoying a relaxing vacation. Waking to the gorgeous views of the lake by day, enjoying glorious views of the stars by night.....and a little retro Nintendo in the Husker Man-Cave, you can't go wrong! We have never been to Grand Lake before and feel like we found a slice of heaven. Everything was in perfect working order, was clean, and current. We felt like we were welcomed into someone's home rather than renting a room. If you rent from Tex you will be thrilled! He is so wonderful to correspond with and makes you feel like family. He and Rebecca clearly take pride in their home and in sharing it with others. We will be back!

We enjoyed a very fun week at Divineland. We were 2 families traveling together and the house provided great space for hanging out together as well as privacy when it was needed. The pictures represented the house very well. The decor and furnishings are very comfortable and everything was clean and well maintained. One of the best features of the house is the deck overlooking the lake and the mountains, we couldn't get enough of the view, especially just seeing how it changed with the light throughout the day. We enjoyed a quite a few different hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park, horseback riding, boating and fishing, strolling the boardwalk in Grand Lake and a scenic drive on Trail Ridge Road. We did have a couple of visits from a hungry bear who was investigating the garbage can out back and one visit from a moose walking down the street. Overall, we were all very happy with the house and our Grand Lake vacation
