Location:
The ideal location for anyone wanting a great vacation. Whether you want to be active or just enjoy the endless beauty of the Adirondacks, this house has it all. Comfortable, CLEAN, walking distance to the great Village of Bolton Landing you'll have a great time. Whether you want to stroll shops, boat, soak in the sun -- this is perfect. The house is great for kids and families. Our children love to fish in the pond and ice skate in the winter. You don't need a car, but you may want to take in some of the areas gorgeous sights. Lake Placid, Gore Mountain, Saratogo, Fort Ticonderoga ara a short drive away. Closer (10 minutes) is the Village of Lake George. Plenty of things to do: boating, parasailing, jet skiing, mini golf, shopping, movies, restaurants, museums, Great Escape Amusement Park are a few. 5 minutes away is the Sagamore Golf Course. Stunning views from the course make it a must see. Lake George is 37 miles long and one of the most scenic lakes in the country.
House:
Our home has never been rented, so it is in perfect condition. Our family has enjoyed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and summers there for many years. There is plenty of room and everything is very new. The sofa's, beds, dining room, washer, dryer etc.. All new. Floors, bathrooms, and interior walls are also new. The view is perfect from the sunroom overlooking the pond. You will be comfortable and happy in this kid friendly home.
Favorite Activities:
Some of our favorite things to do. We love the restaurants in town, especially Tea at the Sagamore Hotel, great lunch & dinners at Lakeside Rest. There's Kate's for great Italian food and great music on Sunday's at Fredricks. Our favorite shop is Happy Jacks which has three shops in town including a great new candy shop. The kids love our after dinner strolls for ice-cream at Ben & Jerry's. We love Tuesday night movies under the stars at the town beach across the street from our road. There's always craft festivals and things going on in this fun little town. My husband and son love to golf and have hit all the nearby courses. Although a little pricey the Sagamore Golf Club is beautiful. Our family absolutely has a blast at the nearby Adirondack Extreme. But most of all we love to be out on the water. Whether you bring your boat or rent one, you have to get on Lake George. Words can't describe it's natural beauty. It's our favorite thing to do!
