There are incredible water views from every room of this home. Whether lying in a comfy queen-sized bed or curled up with a favorite book, glance out the window and imagine yourself at sea.

A spacious bedroom on each of both levels is complemented by bathrooms with a spa tub upstairs, and a shower downstairs. In addition, there is a double hide-a-bed for extra members of your crew.

A modern, well-equipped galley (or kitchen) downstairs has all the amenities you might need to satisfy voracious appetites whipped up by tough days outside at play. There's also a dishwasher to help with clean up after meals. Or spend the evening on the wrap around fiesta deck watching an incredible sunset and barbecuing the fresh catch of the day.

Foul weather is never a problem at the cottage, as bright sun splashed colors enliven the space. Television, videos, and VCR pass the time and a complimentary long distance phone card lets you catch up with friends at home who missed the boat this vacation.

For adventurous sea-farers, bring your canoe, kayak, or windsurfer and launch it from the boat slip on site. A hot outdoor shower awaits your return! Beautiful beaches, red road bike paths, a convenience store, and many other local attractions are a stone's throw away.

Tax Rate 14.0%

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (Canadian Dollar) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • Rates: Our weekly rate runs from Saturday afternoon to Saturday morning. Check-in is after 3pm.
  • Check out is by 10am.
    Reservations:
    Don't Miss the Boat! We recommend that you contact us early as P.E.I. is very busy during the summer months. Reservations are accepted via email and confirmed upon receipt of a check for 50% of the weekly rental rate. Remainder to be paid upon arrival.

    Deposit Policy:

    A deposit cheque for 50% of the weekly rental rate must be received within 10 days of the reservation to confirm the booking.

    Cancellation Policy:

    Cancellations up to one month in advance are fully refundable. Unfortunately, we are a small business and lost bookings represent a loss to us, and a missed opportunity for others. If you are unable to cancel in advance, a 20% charge will be deducted from your deposit, with the deduction climbing to 50% within a week of the scheduled arrival.
  • Special Offers: Ask about our any deals we may be offering ~ for example ~ the first of week may be discounted to $1500 from $1800 depending on availability. And our off season rates are always negotiable ~ we want our visitors to have the best rates on PEI in a 4 star waterfront cottage!

wonderful stay!!!! House was beautiful, great amenities, clean,great location!! Owners were terrific in all aspects of booking, emails, meeting us in person, and answering all questions!! Definately recommend staying at the Shores at Darnley!!!!

WOW Factor!

This was definitely our favorite vacation spot in the Maritimes. The things that made it so special: the location, the waterviews, the sunsets, the deck and lots of grass for the kids to play on, playing catch with the kids, family gathered around the bonfire in the evenings, BBQ's on the deck, loads of fresh seafood (my husband's favorite) going for walks everyday, relaxing, going to the beach (very close by), the weather was great and the list could go on and on and on... We will be back every summer and stay at the Shores!!

Our time in Darnley was a total dream. Leanne is wonderful to work with and the cottage was absolutely perfect. It was completely clean, nicely decorated, and sits on a gorgeous view. It's an incredible value and I highly recommend it to everyone~!

Fantastic!!

We really loved your cottage. As we drove around P.E.I. and saw others we knew we had made the right choice!! Loved the decor, the location, the hospitality! Spotlessly clean with every convenience. Went to Thunder Cove beach and the Ship to Shore Restaurant as recommended and are so glad we did! As I sat inside in the evenings and experienced the views outside, it was hard to believe I was actually viewing real nature and not a postcard (or that I was not in heaven!). Would certainly recommend to others and hope to return someday.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Beautiful Cottage ~ Great Views ~ Super Vacation

We spent a week in September at the Shores with another couple and everyone loved it. The cottage is well equipped and has a great layout as there is a bathroom and bedroom on each level - great for privacy. The beaches close by (Thunder Cove & Cabot) were beautiful and we loved the water views from every window in the cottage. Most evenings we bbq'ed and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset from the wrap around deck. We will definitely be back. Thanks Greg & LeeAnn for a super vacation spot!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
