We loved it so much that we have already booked it for 2010! This is a wonderful home for a get together and a wonderful value! We had 4 couples meeting up here for the long weekend and a wonderful time was had by all! This home is very clean and Deb & Doug have stocked it with everything you need to enjoy yourself. There is plenty of space for 8 people comfortably. All the bedrooms are nice sized with a dresser and big closets so you can unpack and not have to live out of a suitcase. The beds were very comfy - which is a bonus:) We made use of the 2 kitchen areas - plenty of space for cooking, preparing, & serving the food. The outside area is very nice. The 2 covered deck areas are awesome and the beach is nice for getting some sun. When we were there, the lake was not busy at all - most people were just putting their docks in that weekend. We brought up our fishing boat and were able to dock it right at the house, which was great. We also caught some bluegill & crappie over the weekend.
Doug & Deb are great to work with and have put a lot of thought into making this home a wonderful rental!
Attraction note - On Sat. we drove about a hour north & went to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes - definitely worth the drive and interesting to see.
