Awesome vacation spot!

  • 5 of 5

We were one of 4 couples staying here after hiking up to the Mt. LeConte lodge. This place is AWESOME! So beautiful and just a fun place with the best hang-out porch. The hot tub was wonderful after hiking. Loved how each bdr had its own bath, one bdr opened right up to the hot tub. Gorgeous views of Mt. LeConte. The owner is VERY accessible and aims to please. We'll be back!!

Girls' Getaway Weekend March 2015

  • 5 of 5

I rented this cabin for a Girls' Getaway weekend and it could not have been more perfect. The layout of the cabin is perfect for such an occasion, and the cabin location is great--not too far from the main strip in Gatlinburg, but far enough away to be peaceful. The price is VERY reasonable. I have stayed in many cabins in Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge and this one has BY FAR the best view I have EVER had. The cabin was very clean and decorated nicely. The beautiful paintings by the owner herself did not go unnoticed! The beds were comfortable. We did not use the hot tub, but the pool table was in good shape, which isn't always the case in a rental cabin. Everything was just perfect, but the most superb aspect of our stay in this cabin was the helpfulness of the owner. A couple of days before our stay a big snow occurred. It was questionable as to whether or not we'd be able to get to the cabin. Mary went above and beyond in her communication to us about the road conditions, even keeping us updated via text while we were en route. Right before our arrival she sent someone to shovel and de-ice the driveway so that we would be sure to have a safe place to park and get our luggage in. Even sent us pictures so we knew what to expect! We were all very pleased with her desire to make sure our stay went well and I would definitely rent this cabin again in the future!

Girls Trip 2014

  • 5 of 5

This is our 3rd yr coming here. We just love this place, its like being at home. Great view, close to everything, comfortable, roomy and we just had a ball. There were 6 of us girls and we enjoy getting together at least once a yr. We have been friends since 4th grade and we r now in our 60's. This has become our favorite place to meet and go back in time.

Great spot - exceeded expectations.

  • 5 of 5

We had two families with 5 kids under 9, and this was a great fit. Each of the four bedrooms has a full bath, and the common area and deck is well laid out for people to spread out as needed. The kitchen was not huge, but worked just fine - we prepared several full meals during our stay. All in all, a very well kept, well appointed, clean house for our break.

We were also very impressed with the owner's communication. Mary responded very quickly during the reservation process, and checked in with us before, during, and after our stay to make sure everything was as expected. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

GREAT SPOT

  • 5 of 5

This is very nice spot we had so much fun sitting on the wrap around deck to the hot tub and loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The view was amazing got lots of pics. the first night there was a momma bear and 3 cubs that walked up the road tried to get in the trash bin, and the last night there was a male bear we heard trying to get in the trash bin at 11:30pm it came all the way to the porch/grill area also got some pics of it all in all we loved it so much i hope to go back next year.

Fantastic Annual Vacation Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed in this beautiful cabin, with three other couples, for our third consecutive year. It is in a premium location, just a short walk/drive from the resort, Ober Gatlinburg, and has a fabulous view of the snow covered Mt. LeConte. This year, a few of us enjoyed skiing and ice skating at the resort one day, and we all hiked the Chimney Top Trail in the park another day. The cabin is extremely close to the entrance of the National Park where there are numerous trails to hike, beautiful waterfalls, and scenery to view. This is something we have enjoyed doing every year we have stayed here.

Our first year we stayed in this cabin, we hiked, shopped the outlet malls in nearby Pigeon Forge, and visited Dollywood to see the beautiful Christmas lights and shows. There is plenty to do for people of all interests in the surrounding area, as well as what the cabin has to offer. We thoroughly enjoy the nice hot tub on the deck after our busy days doing various "often strenuous" activities. We especially enjoy the pool table and even had pool tournaments this year with brackets and all. Some nights we just chilled around the nice warm fireplace, watched TV, or played games. We do love this place, and plan on making this an annual winter trip for years to come.
