A WONDERFUL STAY ALL AROUND!!

We just spent New Years there with another couple and it was the most relaxing and serene getaway I could have imagined. The cabin itself is beautiful! It is spacious, tastefully decorated and has everything you need for perfect vacation. We love to cook, and it was fully stocked with al the chef's basic essentials, plus some! The sun rises just over the mountains facing the decks and the view of it is spectacular. It is perfect for a few couples or for a family. The downstairs is a large inviting, nicely carpeted great room perfect for kids. There is a wonderful hot tub and even a fire pit in the side yard for a small evening campfire. The area is very quite and beautiful. We only wish we could have stayed for more than a weekend. We never left the house, but there are beautiful places to hike and adventure in the immediate surrounding area. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice get-away! (and if you want, you can bring a pet, though you would never be able to tell that an animal had been there.. it was spotless!)

Perfect getaway

Loved the cabin!! The view was absolutely beautiful. The cabin was private. Perfect place to take our dogs on vacation with us. We gated off the decks and loved that they could go into a fenced side yard. The little pony next door was a NICE bonus. She was so sweet and our dogs loved her. I would definitely stay there again!! Not too far from Asheville or Mt. Mitchell, but I could relax, read, and look at the view instead and be perfectly happy. Clean and comfortable. Thanks Craig.
Location 5, pet friendly 5, clean and comfortable 5. King bed available 5. Only thing I would want differently is king bed in the upstairs bedroom but queen was comfortable.

Mountain Weekend * Fall 2011

The house was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Arrival and departure were a breeze. Owner was very thoughtful and accommodating. The views from the porches are terrific! Our family had a great time exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway and the surrounding area. Would recommend to anyone in need of some fresh mountain air!

Enjoyable Experience

Rented this house this past summer and it was terrific. We loved the layout, everyone felt like they had privacy and their own space. The master bedroom is on one side of the cabin, a bedroom with 2 twins is on the other side. A spacious, well appointed king size bedroom with bunks and a twin have been recently added to the basement. The deck/view is amazing and the hot tub is out of this world.

Burnsville was a nice mountain town with lots of places and restaurants to explore. Lil’ Smoky’s had the best onion rings we had ever tasted. New to You, a used furniture store was a find! We would drive the 2 ½ hours back just to shop there again.

We enjoyed visiting Mt. Mitchell and Roan Mountain. We would definitely stay here again. The owner was fantastic to work with. Highly recommended.

Enjoyable Experience
