I loved staying at Waikiki Place! The location was perfect, within walking distance to all the wonderful Waikiki sites. I loved that it had on site parking, so I could easily park my rental that helped to get me to the rest of the island. The decor was very tropical, which made me feel I was in Hawaii even when in the room. The owner was very helpful before the trip even began. I would recommend this property. I also recommend snorkeling to anybody who hasn't tried it!

I stayed at the Marine Surf Waikiki April 30 - May 8, 2009 (Reserved through WaikikiPlace.com). I found the room to be a pleasant surprise. Before reserving the room, I closely examined the pictures on WaikkiPlace.com and was pleased to find the room actually looked even better than the pictures depicted. The interior of the room appeared to become completely renovated with new, comfortable bed, furniture, carpet and tasteful wall appointments. The room came with everything including towels, china, pots & pans, stereo system with IPOD cradle, free broadband internet, free long distance calls and free parking. The location is excellent, as the building is right in the middle of Waikiki and only about a block from the beach. All the common areas in the building were clean; the building was quiet and the staff polite and helpful. I'll definitely consider staying there again on my next visit

Wonderful Accomodations

We recently stayed for a week in Tom's "Peacock Studio" and LOVED it. Right from the beginning we felt special with the free airport pick up service that he provided. The unit was everything and more that was represented on this site. It was extremely clean, very well furnished and had lots of storage. We felt right at home.

It is very centrally located and we enjoyed walking to the beach and the night life on the main street. Although we cooked and dined in the unit (to save money) most of the time there are lots of great restaurants close. We were only able to try a couple of them...but Cha Cha Cha's next door was very enjoyable.

Customer service was top notch. The booking was easy, Tom was always timely on getting back to us and the check-in was a breeze. The studio was very well stocked! I was pleasantly surprised to see it had an iron/ironing board and all our beach supplies!

Since we used their free airport pickup we didn't drive and found that using the bus was extremely easy and cheap. The bus stop was right across the street from the unit.

Best of all was the price. We were a little skeptical before getting there as the price was almost the lowest in Waikiki, but when we checked in we could hardly believe how nice the place was. We would definitely recommend this to others who want to stay in Waikiki!
