Lovely stay

We stayed for a week in the house with friends. We were two families, each with two kids under 5. The bedroom set up was perfect as there are two bathrooms upstairs (one is a large ensuite) and 4 bedrooms so it suited the two families perfectly. There is also a stairgate at the top of the stairs which was incredibly useful for us.It might be a good addition to the house to add a stairgate at the bottom of the stairs too as this would really appeal to families. Downstairs was all open plan and was spacious enough for us all. The kitchen had everything we needed in it - though there was no kettle which seemed a bit odd for us tea-loving Brits! The owner was incredibly helpful in the run up to our trip, answering all our questions and providing some additional linen as we were flying in from the UK. She also suggested a cot-hire company and we found a great one (Essential Rentals) which delivered the cot on the morning we arrived and picked it up when we left. There are a few places within walking distance which we tried. The British Beer Company was always full and we had a couple of nice meals there. They catered for the kids very well too. It was easy to walk to the beach, or we could walk for 30 mins to get into the centre of Falmouth where there were plenty more restaurants and shops to choose from. There's a great restaurant called The Glass House on the other side of Falmouth which was lovely. You can't book though so get there early. There is loads to do in the local area and a short drive away around the Cape. We had daytrips to Provincetown, Chatham and Plymouth which were all around 1- 1 1/2 hours drive away. If we were going back to the same area again, I would not have any hesitation about booking this house again.
