Financial District Vacation Rental condo

We are a "traveling-family" and we always rent aparments. This one was one of the best ever! For NYC standards this aparment was quiet huge. entrace, kitchen, dining and living-room are enormous. my son loved it to play with his cars in it. lots of space!

the aparment design is very well, modern and tastful with a european style design (charles eames sofa, armani kitchen....). we realy felt like home. both bedrooms are in a very well size. also the granite floor bathrooms. beds are very comfy and bedding in a very high quality.

the kitchen was equiped for 4 people and their is everything what you need (exept a toaster - would be great to have one). the washing mashine and dryer was very helpful - we stayed 10 days with a 4y old child ;)

buidling is offering what you dream about: lovely lobby (perfect to meet business partners), a wonderfull sun deck with lots of relaxe beds (also usable for guests) and inhouse pool. doorman and concierge service was extreme friendly and helpful. my son made friends with them!

location is perfect for everything - shopping, sightseeing, business, relaxing. all kinds of shops nearby. groceries are all very well organic orientated. also all metro stations to get in a 5min. walk.

Maura has been very helpful with booking the aparment. Kenneth who looket after booking was alway reachable, very friendly and helpful. He's a very nice and gracefull person.

Late check-out and replacing of security check are as well with out any problems and very professional.

We would definitely book the apartment again and we reccomend it to our friends and business partners in europe.

I've been renting apartments in various cities for years and this is without a doubt one of the best - very spacious, lots of storage for clothes and suitcases. It has a sleek, modern vibe - and was expensively appointed with two plasma TVs, including a 60 inch Pioneer in the living room.

The two bathrooms are opulent, with granite floors and walls - both equipped with shower stalls and rainshower heads.

The building itself is amazing - the entrance hall and library lounge on the ground floor are worthy of a design mag - there's also a beautifully landscaped terrace and reflecting pool with plenty of lounge seating on the 25th floor (available to all residents, including guests). There's also a doorman, a concierge and the elevator service is fast.

The location is great - 4,5, R/N/W subway lines are a block away. You're a block away from Broadway, with tons of shops including a large Borders store at the corner of Pine and Broadway. There's a large drug store across the street. Zeytunas (a gourmet grocery store) and Gristedes (a more basic grocery store) are an easy two minute walk from the building, if you want to stalk up on breakfast/snack items. Les Halles (a French bistro on John St.) is a quick five minute walk, as are numerous restaurants down on Stone St., a section of which is a quaint cobblestoned pedestrian only strip given over to restaurants with outdoor seating.

Lastly, Maura and Kenny who looked after our booking and check-in were attentive and very helpful, especially when our scheduled flight into Newark was cancelled, delaying our check-in by a day. They also accommodated a late check-out at the end of our stay.

I would definitely book this apartment again on my next trip to NYC.
