Lovely 2 bedroom, one bath furnished apartments in upper east-side townhouse. 82nd St between Park Ave and Lexington Ave. Walk to Central Park and Metropolitan Museum. Subway nearby. Rates are $275-$350/night. $75 cleaning fee. There are 3 two bedroom apartments for short term rental in this townhouse, calendar reflects when all three are booked. Sleep up to 6. Rates REDUCED for Dec/Jan - please inquire. We have one apartment available for New Year from Dec 31. Modern furnishings and very clean. Gorgeous wood floors. Brand new queen beds in each bedroom, sleeper sofas in living room. Sheets, towels, condiments for kitchen - all supplied. Cable TV, Internet, A/C. This apartment is all set up for your comfort - just move in and live like a local! Terrific family oriented neighborhood with all the conveniences outside your door. To reserve, we ask for 20% via credit card to hold the dates. Balance plus security due via check 4 weeks prior to arrival

Great Location for Families

We stayed here for a week with our one-year-old and were really happy with the place. As former New Yorkers, we didn't need a lot of advice about where to go, but the owner, John, would be a great resource for newcomers. The accomodations are clean and the bedrooms very spacious for this kind of property. The bathroom is quite small but frankly no smaller than in your average NYC apartment. The dishwasher was much appreciated.

This is a wonderful location for families. Our days generally went like this: wake up, go to Eli's or H&H to get bagels, walk to Central Park, watch our daughter run around like a maniac in one of the many nearby playgrounds, go back for a nap, then go exploring somewhere in the city. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is around the corner and the Natural History Museum is directly on the other side of the park, a pleasant walk away. Another very significant bonus, as far as we were concerned, is that one of the best pizza places in New York, Totonno's (no slices but they do deliver), is just two blocks away, on 2nd Ave. The location also is near many major bus lines and a major station on the Lexington Avenue subway line, so it is easy to travel just about anywhere in the city. We would return.

Loved this place! Perfect NYC apartment.

We stayed here for 5 nights in September - a couple and a single. It was fantastic. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well maintained. It felt like we were living as new yorkers do - in a lovely brownstone with polished floorboards and high ceilings that the photos do not to justice. The location is great - a 5 minute walk to Central Park and Fifth Avenue. It is only a few minutes walk to the subway making it to easy to get down town or across town - taxis are abundant too. It is really quiet at night (no car honking or street cleaning noises) and the neighbourhood feels much safer than other parts of NYC. There are great delis, supermarkets, and bakeries (H & H Bagels are a must!) in the surrounding streets and easy to stock up the refrigerator with delicious supplies. There are some good local restaurants in the area, which is convenient after hitting the streets all day. The owner, John, was very helpful and offered us advice on restaurants, etc, and everything needed was provided in the apartment. I would recommend this place to a group of friends or family and hope to stay there again in the future.

Great place to stay

We stayed here for 6 days and found it to be an excellent base for our holiday. The apartment was as advertised - rooms were clean and exactly as the photos said they would be. Two well-sized bedrooms with double beds, a large hall and living room. The kitchen had all we need for our stay including a dishwasher. The bathroom though was not very big, but the shower/bath was great with lots of hot water! One of our party has mobility issues but was able to get up the one flight of stairs to this apartment.

The owner was very helpful and we found their communications with us to be prompt and friendly.

This apartment was in a lovely area. So many amenities close by (for a real American breakfast we'd recommend the Lexington Candy Shop just a block away!). We'd stay here again.
