Fern Bank Cabin is a new log cabin built in 2006, located on a ridge top in Shenandoah Woods. Our front porch is screened and has a hot tub to enjoy the spectacular view of the Shenandoah Valley below. Fern Bank Cabin is our most private cabin. It's perfect for a couple or small family. The common area has vaulted ceilings, a real rock fireplace and chimney with gas logs. Above the fireplace is a 37' LCD HDTV with Dish Network and DVD player. There is a full kitchen and dining area here too. Fern Bank Cabin has two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and small TV. The back covered deck has a picnic table and grill. There is a firepit outside too with wood provided. Bring marshmallows and hot dogs!

Absolutely gorgeous!! The cabin was spotless and very cozy. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Thank you, Mr. Cave, we had a great time - can't wait to come back.

A beautiful cabin with a beautiful view. It's new and very clean. We loved the remoteness and even got to see a few deer in the back yard. We were glad we brought the 4 wheel drive truck instead of my new car. Everything you can imagine is provided. The spices are in the cupboard and condidments in the frig. We loved being close to town to eat out and shop the antique stores. We bought all our food at Wal-Mart.
Be sure to check out the Hawksbill Diner but be prepared to wait for a table or make a new friend and share. It was a wonderful anniversary weekend.

My wife and I stayed here this past weekend. Two words..."Absolutely Beautiful". Nestled away in the woods of Shenandoah, this cabin was just what we needed to get away from the everyday 9-5. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
