Comfortable house in sought-after area of Upstate NY, 2 hrs from the GWB, near the Delaware River and all the activities that surround it. Laurel House is in Yulan, and convenient to the cute towns of Barryville and Narrowsburg,where guests can enjoy leisurely lunches in atmospheric cafes, canoe the waters of the Delaware, or even take out the 2 kayaks at the house and go for a spin in the lake across the road. Laurel House is surrounded by lush, colorful gardens, lovingly cared for by one of the owners, who is a landscape architect. He's created numerous nooks and crannies for enjoying the outdoor spaces, including a comfortable hammock for afternoon naps, sunny deck with comfortable chairs for lounging and sharing time, and in evening, a bonfire pit, sure to be an attraction. And beyond that, a meandering path that winds through many acres of woodland, for pleasant walks. There are 2 bedrooms and one bath upstairs, 1 bedroom/1 bath downstairs. Kitchen is well appointed.
