Great place for a family vacation!

We spent a week in July at the cottage, no-one wanted to go home!
Two families (4 adults and 4 children). The water is perfect for small children (ours are 3, 5, 9 and 11) and the pond is great to go out in the kayaks. The life vest that were there fitted all of us.
The Kitchen was fully functional - we had our very own surf and turf, although we would recommend a stop in Ellsworth on the way there for groceries, there is a small shop a few minutes away for emergency supplies and a good breakfast sandwich!
Bar Harbour and Acadia National Park were great day trips, we even went up to Campobello Island to go whale watching (just remember that the island is on Atlantic time!). We're sure that there are lots more great day trips to do, but we found it very hard wanting to leave the peaceful setting.
We would all highly recomend this rental, the owner was very friendly and very informative about the property to make sure that it was exactly what we were looking for.
We'll be back in a few years for sure.
