The Cottage at Arrowhead is an elegant cottage style home and sparkles at every corner. It's warmth and charm invite both families, couples and friends. For the comfort of all guests, smoking and pets are not permitted.
The Family Room is cozy, sun filled and comfortably furnished, offering flat screen tv, blu-ray DVD, cable, wi-fi and stereo. The eat-in-Kitchen seats 6, is well appointed and overlooks the back yard and patio area. A large pantry with laundry facilities and back yard access is at the center of the home. 3 wonderfully comfortable bedrooms each sleep 2 with plenty of closet and storage space. And 2 full bathrooms (one with antique claw-foot tub) off the hall!
The back yard is large (just under an acre), quiet and secluded, with mature plantings and grand shade trees to relax under! There is a clothesline, Gas Grill, Brick Patio, Garden Seating, and a private Outdoor Shower!
Beach Information: :
We are located between the bay and the ocean and are less than a mile away from several breathtaking beaches, Cold Storage, Corn Hill, Head of the Meadow, Ballston Beach and so many more!
We recommend that guests take advantage of the 'pay at the gate' option for visiting our Truro beaches. Many local beaches offer daily rates, and this affords your family more flexibility with plans.
If it were to rain, or you plan to spend a day or two exploring beaches in Eastham, Wellfleet, Provincetown, or visiting Highland Light, the bike trails or other attractions of the outer cape, you will have not wasted money on a beach pass from the town.
Please remember to bring your Beach Towels, Beach Chairs, Wagons, Coolers, and any other required beach gear.
Truro Extras: :
SEPTEMBER is one of the most beautiful months to spend on the cape. Still quite warm and beach worthy, the summer guests have all gone home, traffic has dissapated and the local businesses are still in operation. You get the best of what the cape has to offer in perfect peace, without any crowds - it's our little secret!
FERRY: Don't forget about the Boston - Provincetown Ferry! Cabs, Rental Cars and the Truro - PTown Flex Shuttle are available at MacMillan Wharf in Provincetown (less than 1 mile from the house) if you choose to leave your car behind.
