Nosara Vacation Rental house

My husband and I stayed at this incredible and beautiful home with another couple in March of 2009. I can hardly describe how beautiful it is. The location is as close to the gorgeous white sandy Pacific beach as you can possibly wish and hope - "literally on the beach" is not at all an exaggeration! The accomodations were very lovely and accurately described here - extremely comfortable air conditioned bedrooms each with private bath, some of which opened directly to views of the ocean.

The property was clean and extremely well-maintained. We had daily houskeeping and cleaning services. The outdoor living area was stunning, complete with a basic kitchen, an outdoor bar area, hammocks, and a huge seating area - perfect for relaxing with a tropical drink, watching the crashing waves, and observing the howler monkeys that made daily appearances.

We provided food and basics, and were treated to wonderful Costa Rican meals. The home is located not far from the town of Nosara, so it was easy to stop at the grocery store on our way to stock up on items we needed, and we were not far from the local canopy tours or yoga retreats. We did not mobilize very often from the house (our primary objective was to rest and relax - we did leave the property to go on a canopy tour), but I think that getting taxis to go to and from the house can take some planning/coordination, - the caretakers will gladly assist you though.

The beaches near Nosara are known for their waves and surfing - so if you are a beach-goer, board surfer, body surfer, beach comber etc., this location is perfect. Also, the tidal pools at night are just amazing.

I would highly recommend this property - it was simply perfect for two couples, but would also easily accomodate large groups, as there are 6 bedrooms (it can sleep up to 22 persons.) It has one of the best locations on the beach. We had an incredible, wonderful stay and would return to this home without question!
