The ocean view home at 10 Shipwatch Drive is located on a corner lot, right across the street from beach front homes on a quiet cul-de-sac. In addition to use of the Beach and Racquet Club pool, 10 Shipwatch guests also have access to another pool, only about 75 feet away and adjacent to the walkway to the beach. There is no construction on the home-site across the street, so you have a great view of the dunes and ocean. Ideal for a small family or group of friends, there is a combined living/dining area with the dining table seating 6, flowing directly into a compact but fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, granite counter tops, new cabinetry, a pantry and ample lighting. This is a very light and bright home, with numerous large windows inviting the sun and views. There is a direct ocean view from the living/dining area, where new bamboo flooring extends throughout. The home offers a high speed wireless Internet connection, a washing machine and dryer, and a charcoal grill.

Harbor Island is a small, quiet barrier island 14 miles southeast of the charming, historic town of Beaufort, SC. About an hour from Savannah, GA, an hour from Hilton Head Island, and 2 hours from Charleston, SC, Harbor Island is ideally located for day trips. The town of Beaufort is similar to Charleston but on a much smaller scale and boasts a beautiful downtown on the Intracoastal Waterway with historic homes, great food, and a fabulous waterfront park and marina.

  • Both full baths have ceramic tile floors, granite counter tops, and new fixtures. Downstairs bath is a private bathroom for the master bedroom; upstairs bath is accessed from the hallway between the two upstairs bedrooms.

Bedrooms and Baths : All three bedrooms are carpeted. The spacious first floor master, with cable television, opens directly onto the downstairs open porch, and has its own private full bath. There is a second full bath upstairs, between the two bedrooms and accessed through the hallway. Both bathrooms boast new ceramic tile and granite counter top vanities, and full tub/shower combos. One of the two upstairs bedrooms also offers a direct ocean view, and the other opens onto the upstairs screened porch--which has an ocean view and can also be accessed from the hallway. Each bedroom has one queen bed; there are also 2 twin and one double air mattresses available to expand sleeping arrangement options.

A warm water outside shower is perfect for rinsing sand off of kids and the dog before coming indoors. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms and the living area provide a gentle cooling breeze throughout the home. This home is neat and clean with new furniture and fixtures in an ideal location for your vacation! All rates exclude taxes and vehicle gate pass; departure cleaning added to stays of less than one week. 10 Shipwatch is pet friendly----there is even a comfy dog bed for your pooch!
