Centrally located on the Crystal Coast of NC. Our property is in a sound front community in Atlantic Beach, NC with direct access to fishing, swimming, crabbing, kayaking, and boating. We are a short distance from the beach and provide transportation to and from all of the popular beaches. We offer a peaceful respite with a convenient location. It is only a short drive to Morehead City's deep sea fishing charter fleet, the quaint Beaufort Waterfront, or the sportsman's paradise of Harker's Island. Call us and tell us what you want from your vacation and we can guide you in the right direction!

Park your car for the week when you stay with us.: Now, when you choose our home for your vacation, you not only get one of the nicest homes on the island, but you also get to use our street legal 6 person electric vehicle! You can use it to go anywhere in Atlantic Beach. How cool is that? No need to use your gas or get sand in your car when you rent our home!

If your own personal electric car was not enough, we now have an open air trolley that will chauffeur you to and from the beach daily as well other locations, such as the aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores, on a weekly basis. It will run from Memorial Day to Labor Day beginning in 2011!

Gorgeous home...awesome location! Our family enjoyed our week at your beach cottage tremendously! The beautiful pool and 6 passenger golf cart were big hits with our crowd!!

What a wonderful experience!!!!!! The house is clean, cozy, comfortable and perfect! We had a total of 10 people of which 5 where children. They had enough space to play indoor and outdoors in the marvelous walk in swimming pool and swing set. Mr Turner is a very attentitive and caring person. He called to see how we were enjoying the area and gave us tips on what to do while we were there. I will definitely be back next year! Thank you for sharing your house with our family!

Great House. What you see is what you get!

This is a great house.

We have rented many beach houses and all too often the pictures do not represent the current condition of the house. Not the case with "Timeout" beach house. This property is clean, well maintained and great for large families. The kitchen is large and fully equipped which was important to our group as they enjoy cooking. Screened in porch is a great place gather and have a glass of wine or just read a book. The golf cart is a great bonus!

Great House that will fit 3 to 4 couples comfortably

What a lovely beach house this is! The interior is nicely decorated, and is has spacious, comfortable common areas. There was more than enough room for our family gathering: my family of 5, my brother's family of 6 and Grandma! Lovely screened porch, great grill, adjacent to a little playground, all in all wonderful outdoor space. The golf cart was a fun extra to use to go for ice cream in the evenings. The beach was a short drive away, and the boardwalk leading to the sound was amazing. The owner was so friendly and helpful. Can't wait to visit again!

Family Getaway!

We had a triple celebration at the "Timeout" beach house. My husband turned 80 in December and so our family decided to have a 3 in one celebration -- Thanksgiving, Christmas and my husbands big 80! It was grand. Our children came in from NY & SC and we had ample bedrooms with their own baths for both families. My husband and I loved basking in the beautiful 'Master Bedroom" -- what luxury. The house was convenient to many attractions on the Island and when we were home there was a closet full of board games to play. We loved walking the long pier overlooking the Bogue Sound -- so beautiful. We took a day trip up to New Bern and took the historic tour -- don't miss that. But best of all was cooking in the beautiful kitchen with two dishwasher. Our family loves to cook -- all of us have so much fun in the kitchen. Time Out was clean, comfortable, and cozy -- all at the same time. The beds were so comfortable and the electric golf cart was a hoot! Thank you Craig & Valerie -- we had a blast.
